Scott Palguta
Head Coach
Palguta played four seasons as a defender with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He signed with Colorado in 2009 and was part of the 2010 team that won the MLS Cup. A native of Toms River, N.J., Palguta was a two-time all-Ivy League selection at Cornell University, where he graduated in 2005 with a bachelors degree in hotel administration. While attending Cornell, Palguta played for Cape Cod of the USL Premier Development League from 2002 to 2004, winning back-to-back national championships with the Crusaders in 2002 and 2003. Palguta got his first taste of professional soccer during his senior year at Cornell after he was drafted by the Rochester Raging Rhinos in the second round of the USL First Division College Draft. He was named the leagues Rookie of the Year in 2005 and was an all-USL selection in 2008. He earned his USSF 'A' coaching license in 2014. Palguta and his wife, Melissa, reside in Colorado Springs.

Kevin Doyle
Assistant Coach
Doyle brings nearly three decades of collegiate coaching experience, including the past 10 seasons at the Air Force Academy, where he served as associate head coach before being elevated to interim head coach for the 2024 season. During his time with the Falcons, Doyle helped guide the program to seven consecutive WAC Tournament appearances, three WAC regular-season titles, and numerous NCAA Tournament berths. He was also part of three United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year honors. Doyle joins a CC team that is coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the Elite Eight in 2023, as well as consecutive SCAC regular season titles. Last season the Tigers finished the season with a 16-3-3 record, an undefeated 10-0-1 record in the SCAC and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after defeating Pacific Lutheran in the first round. Doyle also spent two seasons at Grand Canyon University, leading the Lopes to a WAC championship and NCAA tournament appearance in 2018. His coaching resume also includes stints at Virginia Tech, Creighton, Penn State, William & Mary and Mercer. At Creighton, he helped guide the Blue Jays to six NCAA Tournament appearances. A former standout goalkeeper at Creighton, Doyle earned Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1992. Originally from Katy, Texas, Doyle earned his bachelor's degree in interpersonal communications from Bowling Green State University in 1996 and his Master of Science in Sports Science from Ohio University in 2018.

Tomas Martinez
Assistant Coach
Tomas Martinez enters his 12th season as the assistant coach of the Colorado College men's soccer team. During his tenure with the Tigers, CC has a record of 138-45-25. Martinez has been with the Tigers since the legendary head coach Horst Richardson retired as the winningest coach in program history. He has been with the current head coach, Scott Palguta, since he took over in 2015 and has become the second-winningest coach in the team's history. Martinez has helped coach the Tigers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including back-to-back bids in 2023 and 2024. Last year, the Tigers finished with a 16-3-3 record and went 10-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, winning the regular season title for the second consecutive season. In 2023, CC made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1992. CC won the SCAC Coaching Staff of the Year award in both 2023 and 2024.
