Head Coach
Stuart-Elliott was named West Region Coach of the Year by the Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association in 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2014, as well as the 2011 and 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. CC's 15-3 overall mark in 2012 set a school record for wins in a single season. She came to Colorado College in 1995 after spending the previous three years as a graduate assistant coach at James Madison University in Virginia. Earlier coaching experience included stints as an assistant at Roanoke College and Penn State University. Stuart is a 1989 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y., where she earned her bachelors degree in English and Religious Studies and was an All-American goaltender in lacrosse. A native of Great Fall, Mont., she went on to attend graduate school at James Madison University, receiving her masters degree in kinesiology in 1994. In 2008, she was inducted into her alma mater's Hall of Fame and also was enshrined in the Colorado Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2005. Stuart was Team Canadas starting goalkeeper for two World Cup competitions, in Edogawa, Japan (1997) and High Wycombe, England (2001). She also was a member of the United States women's national team from 1989 through 1995, a period that saw her compete on tour against Canada in 1990, England in 1991 and Wales in 1995. Stuart served as an assistant coach with Team Canada for the second time during the 2013 World Cup in Oshawa, Ontario.

Ashley Johnson
Head Coach
Ashley Johnson was named the second head coach in Colorado College women's lacrosse history on June 2, 2025. Johnson has spent the last four seasons as the top assistant under Susan "Stuey" Stuart, who retired at the end of the 2025 season after 31 years as the program's only head coach. Originally from Arvada, Colo., Johnson has over 15 years of coaching experience at the DIII, DI, and national team levels. In her four seasons as the assistant coach at CC, the Tigers compiled a 51-28 record, culminating in back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2024. CC has gone 34-19 in the last two years and won consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles. In 2025, the Tigers tied a program record for wins in a season with an 18-4 record and Johnson and Stuart were named the WIAC Coaching Staff of the Year. Johnson has helped produce three All-Americans, 28 all-region selections and 25 all-conference honorees. CC has had eight players win major conference awards between the SCAC and WIAC. Before Colorado College, Johnson spent six seasons at the University of California-Davis, where she served as the top assistant since the fall of 2015. While at Davis, Johnson was the offensive coordinator, draw specialist and goaltender coach, as well as the program's recruiting coordinator. In 2021, she helped guide the Aggies to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship as well as their third consecutive No. 1 seed for the MPSF Tournament. She helped lead UC Davis to a 12-4 record, the program's best since 2004, and coached the league's player of the year as well as seven first-team all-MPSF selections. Prior to Davis, Johnson served two seasons as the assistant at Marist College (2013-15) and three at Wagner College (2010-13), where she began her coaching career as a graduate assistant and was quickly promoted to first assistant. Johnson has coached at the national team level most recently with Team Mexico in the 2024 U20 Women's Lacrosse Championship in Hong Kong. She was also the assistant coach of the Ugandan National Team in 2020. She played DI lacrosse at Mount St. Mary's University, where she was named a first-team All-NEC selection as an attacker in 2010 and a midfielder in 2008. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree in business marketing from St. Mary’s in 2010, and earned a master’s in business management from Wagner in 2012.

Regan Cook
Assistant Coach
Regan Cook was hired as the women's lacrosse assistant coach at Colorado College on August 26, 2025. Cook was a volunteer coach for CC during the 2023 season that saw the Tigers earn a trip to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title. She was also recently the head coach of Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs, where she led the Kadets to their first second-round in the CHSAA playoffs in four years. Cook graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from York and a Master of Science in Sport Business, Concentration in Athletic Administration from Temple University. After graduating, she coached the Headstrong Lacrosse and Bolts Lacrosse Clubs in Philadelphia before relocating to Colorado Springs, where she coached alongside Johnson and Susan "Stuey" Stuart. Originally from Lincoln University, Penn. Cook played four years at DIII York College in Pennsylvania, where she was named a two-time Inside Lacrosse All-American selection. She was a second-team selection in 2019 and a first-team selection in 2020. Cook was also named a four-time All-Capital Athletic Conference and IWLCA All-Region selection. Academically, Cook was named a CoSIDA second-team Academic All-American selection her senior year. She helped lead York to its first-ever CAC Tournament title and a program-record 17 wins, which capped three consecutive Elite Eight appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Cook finished her collegiate career with 63 games played, 140 goals, 29 assists, 313 shots, 68 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.
