Logan Pearsall

Coach

Pearsall is in his third year as the head diving coach at Colorado Mesa University. In his first two seasons, he produced four All-Americans as well as seven Honorable Mention All-Americans. The 2015-2016 season proved to be the best year for diving in school history with all three of his divers, Cassi Blakeman, Ryan Popp and Sage DAmbrosia, placing in the top-eight in their respective events. During that time, Pearsall also produced a Scholar All-American in diver, Ryan Popp. Pearsalls success at CMU started with diver Amanda Jennings breaking two school records as well as the pool record while also placing sixth on the one-meter at the Div. II NCAA National Championships. Pearsall most recently served as the head diving coach at Pace University, where he coached three women qualifiers for the NCAA Div. II National Championships and the school record holder. During this time, Logan also coached with Whirlwind Diving, one of the best age group programs in the Northeast. While there, he was instrumental in the coaching and development of numerous national qualifiers as well as regional and national champions. He also coached at Wheaton College where his divers rewrote the record board as well as qualified for the NCAA Div. III National Championships. A native of Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, Pearsall is a 2010 graduate of Clarion University where he earned numerous accolades including four NCAA Div. II diving championships between the 1 and 3-meter springboards and was a six time All-America. His four NCAA titles tie him for the most ever in NCAA Div. II men's diving. Pearsall was named the NCAA Div. II Diver of the Year in 2010 and 2011 and also collected Break Out Diver of the Year honors in 2010. As a sophomore in 2009, Pearsall was named the Clarion University of Pennsylvania Male Athlete of the Year. Still heavily active in the sport, Pearsall is a 21-time Masters Diving National Champion and a three-time World Masters National Champion. He competed at the 2016 USA Diving National Championships in Moultrie, Ga. and finished in the top-16. Received a bachelors degree in Athletic Coaching from Clarion University and is working on his MBA in Athletic Administration.
