Head Coach
Blair was hired as the program's first-ever head coach Nov. 20, 2013. Before arriving at Hope, Blair was the defensive coordinator at Grand Valley, helping the team claim three consecutive Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association titles (2010, 2011, 2012) and make three Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Tournament appearances (2010, 2011, 2012), including two Final Four appearances in 2011 and 2012 and National Championship game appearance in 2012. Blair played lacrosse at Grand Valley State University from 2005-2008, earning a team captain title as a junior (2007). In 2008, he helped lead the team to a 20-2 record, their first CCLA Conference Championship and first ever MCLA Tournament appearance and National Championship game. In 2008, he was the first Grand Valley State University player named to the MCLA Division II All-Tournament team as a Defensive Specialist. The 2016 season saw many milestones, including the first program win on March 21, against Emmanuel College (GA), as well as the first home win on April 1, against Notre Dame de Namur (CA). Several players also achieved post season awards under Blairs tutelage including: one 1st Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference player, two 2nd Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference players, and three Honorable Mention All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference players. Additionally, three players who earned 1st Team All-Academic Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference players. During Blair's first season with the program, the ThunderWolves competed in the Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. The Pack will move into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for the 2016 campaign. Prior to coming to the Steel City, Blair served as the assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Hope College, which began its first season of lacrosse in 2013, helping the squad to an 8-5 record in its inaugural campaign, securing a berth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament and ending the season with a fourth-place finish. Before arriving at Hope, Blair was the defensive coordinator at Grand Valley, helping the team claim three consecutive Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association titles (2010, 2011, 2012) and make three Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Tournament appearances (2010, 2011, 2012), including two Final Four appearances in 2011 and 2012 and National Championship game appearance in 2012. While at Grand Valley State, Blair's defensive players received eight All-American awards, in addition to ten All-Conference awards. With Blair on staff, the team remained in the MCLA National top-ten rankings. In all, Blair comes to CSU-Pueblo with five years of collegiate lacrosse coaching experience, helping his teams to a cumulative record of 72-16. Blair played lacrosse at Grand Valley State University from 2005-2008, earning a team captain title as a junior (2007). Originally from Kalamazoo, Mich., Blair graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Group Social Studies. He and his family reside in Pueblo.

Nic Bevacqua
Assistant Coach
Bevacqua was hired as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at CSU-Pueblo in the summer of 2015. Bevacqua joined the Pack after spending the past four seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at Colorado College. During his time with the Tigers, Bevacqua helped lead the Tigers to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2013, Bevacqua co-founded High Altitude Lacrosse, a high school and youth elite lacrosse club, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Since 2014, Bevacqua has worked as an assistant coach for Team Colorado in the Brine All-American Lacrosse National Classic. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Philippines Lacrosse Association. As a player, Bevacqua competed for Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md. As a senior captain in 2009, Bevacqua was named a USILA Second-Team All-American and a Capital Athletic Conference First-Team All-Conference member. Bevacqua was also selected to compete in the USILA North/South All-Star Game in 2009. In 2007, he garnered CAC Second-Team All-Conference accolades. Bevacqua earned a bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies from Stevenson in 2009.

Tim Gabriel
Coach
Gabriel will also serve as the special teams coordinator on the mens lacrosse team. Gabriel served twelve years in the United States Army Reserves from December 2001 through December 2013, having been deployed three times to Kuwait and Iraq. He was awarded four Army Commendation Medals. During this time he trained a great number of soldiers to achieve the physical fitness requirements. A native of Colorado Springs, Gabriel received his undergraduate degree from University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in Health Science Sports Conditioning and Training in 2010. After completing his undergraduate degree he conducted a six month internship, training tactical athletes over a wide spectrum of job tasks to be better physically for the rigors of their occupation. Gabriel obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2011 and is a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. Upon completion of his last deployment, Gabriel moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in the fall of 2012 where he attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, earning his masters degree in Kinesiology in 2014. While in Corpus Christi he trained high school and college athletes, along with general health clients at Sports Fitness Solutions, later helping set up and coach a weightlifting club at another local gym. Additionally, he has been published internationally in the Journal of Australian Strength and Conditioning.
