Entlich selected to mimic a Ferrari, the quintessential ride for speed and excitement. His teams have followed suit playing a thrilling and entertaining brand of soccer that is annually one of the nations best. Entlich has quickly turned CSU into not only the class of the Peach Belt Conference but also of the Southeast.    Entering his 13th season at Columbus State in the fall of 2016, Entlich is the winningest coach in PBC history posting a 204-48-22 mark since 2004. In his tenure, the Lady Cougars have captured at least a share of the PBC regular season championship nine times and have won the PBC Tournament six times. In addition, CSU has appeared in the PBC Tournament finals nine times in the past 11 seasons.   Columbus State is also no stranger to the NCAA Tournament under Entlich having made 10 straight appearances. Since 2007, the Lady Cougars have advanced to at least the second round of the NCAA Tournament in every year including making national quarterfinal appearances in 2007, 2008 and 2015. In 2016, the Lady Cougars made their deepest NCAA Tournament run, advancing to the national championship game. During his tenure at CSU, Entlich has coached 62 All-Conference, 57 All-Region and 14 All-American student-athletes including the 2010, 2011 and 2015 PBC Players of the Year. In addition, he has coached five PBC Freshman of the Year award winners (2005, 2007, 2011, 2013 and 2015). The 2015 season saw the Lady Cougars break through in a big way. For the first time in program history, Columbus State advanced to the national semifinals with a win over fourth-ranked Barry. The Lady Cougars then dispatched No. 5 Bridgeport to move into the national championship match, where the magical run finally came to an end. With a 22-3-1 mark, the Lady Cougars established a new program high for wins in a season and set new standards on the offensive end of the field. CSU scored a program-record 86 goals on the season, leading the Peach Belt Conference and finishing second in the country. The 2014 campaign was a banner season for Entlich as he led the Lady Cougars to a 21-1-1 overall record, tying the then-program record for wins in a season. The Lady Cougars vaulted as high as No. 2 in the country during the season and completed the first undefeated regular season in program history. On their way to a No. 5 final ranking, the Lady Cougars rolled undefeated to a PBC regular season championship and capped it off with a perfect run through the conference tournament. The Lady Cougars run continued into the NCAA Tournament with a pair of wins before ultimately falling in the national quarterfinals. Despite not having one senior on his roster and playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation, Entlich and the Lady Cougars went 15-6-1 in 2013 and won a share of the PBC regular season title for the first time since 2010. Early in the season, Entlich guided CSU to its first ever win over a top-five opponent as the Lady Cougars defeated then ranked No. 3 Armstrong 2-0.  Columbus State reached as high as seventh in the national poll after a midseason run which the Lady Cougars won seven matches in a row and earned a share of the conference crown.  Entlich and CSU earned its eighth straight selection to the NCAA Tournament becoming the only team in the nation to reach the tournament without a senior on the roster. The Lady Cougars reached the second round of the tournament before falling in a penalty kick shootout.   The 2012 season was more of the norm for Columbus State as the Lady Cougars registered an 18-3-2 overall record. CSU began the season by winning 13 of its first 14 matches including winning eight straight. After reaching the PBC Tournament Championship match, CSU was selected as a host site for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament where the Lady Cougars advanced to the third round of the tournament for the first time since 2009 with a 2-1 victory over Belmont Abbey. The Lady Cougars finished the year as one of the best defensive squads in the nation ranking 10th in the country with a 0.55 goals against average.   Returning just four starters from a 19-2-1 squad, Entlich showed why he is one of the nations best in 2011. After going winless in three matches and falling to 6-3-1, Entlich and the Lady Cougars silenced the critics winning nine consecutive matches on their way to the PBC Tournament Championship match. With their late season push, the Lady Cougars reached the NCAA Tournament for the sixth straight season before falling in a penalty kick shootout in the second round.      It was another banner year in 2010 as he guided the Lady Cougars to their six straight regular season PBC Championship and their fourth PBC Tournament Championship in the past five years.  They finished the campaign fifth nationally in scoring offense (3.14 goals/match) and in shutout percentage (.682) after posting 15 shutouts.  The team allowed only 12 goals on the year, a new school record and posted the best winning percentage in CSU history, .886, after finishing the season with a 19-2-1 mark.   The Lady Cougars are just as successful in the classroom as 11 players have been named Scholar All-Americans during Entlichs tenure. The program has earned 10 straight (2005-14) Team Academic Awards.  Entlich has picked up his own hardware earning the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Southeast Region Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2008 while also being named the PBC Coach of the Year in those same seasons. Entlich has won four PBC Coach of the Year awards (2005, 2008, 2014, 2015) in total. Prior to coming to Columbus State University, Entlich served as the head coach of the Carolina Courage of the Womens United Soccer Association.  Among the players he coached were 2004 FIFA World Soccer Player of the Year Birgit Prinz and World Cup players Kristen Luckenbill, Tiffany Roberts, Carla Overbeck and Danielle Fotopoulos. Before the Courage, Entlich was a U.S. Womens National Team staff coach where he coordinated player development, indentified and recruited players for the U.S Youth National Teams and instructed B and C license courses for coaches. As head coach of the University of Tampa from March 2000 to January 2002, Entlich directed the Spartans to a record of 23-15 and earned 2001 Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year.   Through the 2013 season, his overall collegiate coaching record stood at 227-63-22, ranking him in the top 10 for winning percentage amongst active Division II head coaches and winning percentage all-time in Division II.   In addition, he served as Director of Coaching for the Countryside Lightning Youth Soccer Program with 22 competitive and 100 recreational teams under his guidance.   Previous to Tampa, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Mississippi and was a men's assistant at his alma mater, Virginia Tech.   Entlich was a four-year member of the Hokie soccer program that saw him earn All-Conference, All-State and team MVP honors in 1993, as well as served as the team captain.  The 93 season was one of the best single-season performances for a Virginia Tech player as he tallied the second most points (37), tied for fourth most goals (14) and tied for fifth most assists (9).  His career marks of 30 goals, 16 assists and 76 points place him in the top 10 in all three categories as well.
