Cornerstone University Women's Volleyball

Chris is the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Cornerstone University. He is heading into his fourth season this fall. In 2022 Chris helped lead the Cornerstone Golden Eagles to a 34-4 record which included a program record 34 match winning streak, and a finish in the Sweet 16 of the NAIA National Tournament.  Cornerstone was ranked inside the NAIA Top #25 Rankings the entire season.  He was voted 2022 WHAC Assistant Coach of The Year.  In (2021) after losing 7 seniors off the previous years squad and bringing in 7 freshman he helped Cornerstone finish the year with a 24-15 record, finish second in the WHAC Conference and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament for a second straight season. Chris helped produce 3 ALL-WHAC Conference 1st team players, 2 ALL-WHAC 2nd team conference players as well as three All-Region players and 1 All-American.  In his first season he helped lead a (2020-2021) team to a record of (23-4) a WHAC Regular Season Championship, WHAC Tournament Championship and a NAIA National Tournament birth as well as finishing the year in the NAIA top #25. Prior to being hired at Cornerstone University, Chris spent one season as an assistant coach at Division 2 Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.  He also spent four seasons as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Christ Academy High School in Wichita Falls, TX where he helped the Lady Warriors to a (38-8) showing and a State Championship in 2018.  He was also key in starting their beach program where he was the head coach for two seasons from 2017-2018 helping produce a D1 Beach Volleyball Player from the school.  Chris was a head coach at Zone In Volleyball Academy in Wichita Falls, TX. He was named Coach of the year twice in 2015 and 2018. In 2018 he led his 16's National team to a fifth place finish out of 224 teams at the Red Rock Rave National Qualifier in Las Vegas.  His team qualified for the Tour of Texas and finished in the top #50 of NTR Region.
