D'Youville College Women's Volleyball

Head Coach Allison Post enters her second season at the helm of the D'Youville Women's Volleyball program for the 2026-27 season. Overall Post holds a 10-16 record with a 5-7 record in East Coast Conference play.  In her first season leading the Saints, Post led her team to an East Coast Conference playoff appearance as the #4 seed. Junior, Madeline O'Brien and Sophomore, Cameron Ulinksi were both named East Coast Conference Second Team honors.  Post arrived to D’Youville in April of 2025 after spending on season at the University of Rochester as an assistant coach. At the U of R, Post helped coach one All-University Athletics Association honoree, one AVCA All-Region 3 Honorable Mention, and four CSC Academic All-District selections.   Prior to her arrival at the U of R, Post spent seven seasons at nearby Daemen University, five as player and two as a graduate assistant coach. In her two seasons as a coach, Post helped guide the Wildcats to two ECC Championships and NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. She saw 12 players earn All-ECC honors as well as a pair being named All-American. As a player, Post saw action in 86 matches where she had 565 kills, 432 digs, 52 blocks, and 48 aces. Post had her best season as a player during her junior year, leading the team with 241 kills and helped Daemen to an ECC Championship and an appearance into the Elite Eight, a first in the program’s history.   A native of Windsor, Calif., Post earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in sports management from Daemen in the spring of 2021 and her master’s degree in leadership and innovation in the spring of 2024.  

Mitch Mason joined the women's volleyball coaching staff in August of 2021.  Mason attended D’Youville from 2016-21 and graduated last spring with a BSN in nursing and a minor in psychology. He was a dual-sport athlete on Porter Avenue, playing two years of baseball and two years of volleyball for the Saints.   During the 2019-20 men’s volleyball campaign, Mason led D’Youville and the AMCC in digs per set, ranking 12th in the country at the Division III level. Mason also paced the Saints in digs and digs per set during his final season in 2021. Mason picked up 16 career hits on the diamond, including five doubles, while driving in five runs. In his D'Youville baseball debut on March 18, 2017, Mason picked up his first career hit with a double to center field, where he would come around to score his first run.
