Anderson's 2015 squad also saw a record-breaking season offensively and defensively, including the NSAA's conference Defensive Player-of-the-Year Ben Kullos who broke all tackles categories. DSU set a total of 12 new school records with eight new individual records and four new team records. Dakota State was in the 'Top 10' in the rushing categories. Dakota State had 11 NSAA Football All-Conference recipients in 2015. Anderson has coached two American Football Coaches Association (AFCA)/NAIA Football All-Americans (Zac Woods in 2014 and Ben Kullos in 2015). During Andersons tenure at Dakota State, he accumulated 36 All-Conference recipients. He also had six athletes become a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Football Scholar-Athlete for their academic success in the classroom. Anderson was named head coach in February 2009 after spending the previous three seasons as the head coach at Payson High School in Payson, Ariz. Previous to Payson, Anderson coached three seasons as head coach at Chino Valley High School in Chino Valley, Ariz. Anderson also had five years of assistant college coaching experience at North Dakota State University, South Dakota State University and Wayne State College (Neb.) before starting his high school head coaching career in Arizona. A native of Madison, S.D., Anderson played tight end for the Trojans from 1994-95, was a two-year starter and an All-Conference SDIC player. Anderson then transferred to NDSU to play a similar position from 1996-1998. He red-shirted his first year, had a back-up role his second year and was a starter his senior year with the Bison. Anderson was a member of the Bison's 1997 NCAA Division II playoff team. Anderson earned both his bachelor's degree and master's degree from North Dakota State University. Josh and his wife, Stacy, from Arlington, S.D., have three children, Lincoln (10 years old), Rylee (8) and Bode (5). Stacy played college basketball. E-mail: Alex Glover is entering his fourth year with the Trojan Football coaching staff as Defensive Line Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and Director of Football Operations. Glover is also the throwing coach for the DSU's track & field program. During Glover's first three years at Dakota State, he has coached seven (7) All-Conference selections on the defensive line, including Cole Potter who led all NAIA defensive linemen in tackles (90), tackles-for-loss (32.5) and quarterback sacks (14.5) in 2014. Potter also broke the school record for sacks in a single season (14.5) and sacks in a single game (4). Prior coming to Dakota State, Glover was the offensive coordinator and assistant throwing coach at his high school alma mater in Elkton, S.D. for the last three years. He was an All-Conference, All-state and All-Register defensive end for Elkton High School. He was a three-time state track qualifier in discus. Glover continued his education at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D. where he earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management. He was a starter at tight end position as a freshman, helping DWU to their best record since 1992. He was an integral member of the DWU football team that recorded its first winning campaign in the Great Plains Athletic Conference in 2008 with a 7-3 record and a No. 23 ranking in the final NAIA Football Coaches' poll. DWU was honored as the South Dakota Sportswriter's Association 2008 Men's College Team-of-the-Year. Glover also competed with DWU's track & field program as he was involved with throws for two seasons. Alex and his wife Kaitlyn (from Pierce, Neb. and former thrower at DWU) reside in Madison and have three children - Leila, Naomi and Jayda. E-mail: Sam Gooding is entering his second year with the Trojan Football coaching staff as Offensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. In 2015, he served as a Graduate Assistant and Tight Ends Coach, when the Trojans produced a 1st Team All-NSAA Tight End in the most prolific offense in school history. Prior to coming to Dakota State, Gooding worked three seasons as a student assistant at the University of Illinois and one spring semester as a recruiting assistant. Over his three seasons with the defensive staff, Illinois improved its record each year, culminating in a Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl berth in 2014. Gooding, a native of Decatur, Ill., graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Secondary Education. He received his Master's degree in Educational Technology from Dakota State University. Alex Guillien is entering his third year as Strength Coach/Instructor at Dakota State University. He served as a Graduate Assistant as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2013. Prior to coaching at DSU, Guillien spent a summer as an intern at the University of Northern Iowa. He assisted the Division I sports of football, volleyball and men's basketball. His undergraduate studies were in Exercise Science at Winona State University (Minn.) where he served as an intern. Guillien played two years of Junior College basketball at Rochester Community and Technical College prior to attending Winona State University. Guillien holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and as a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC). He also holds a Level 1 Certification from United States Weightlifting and is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR/First Aid/AED. Currently, he competes in the sport of Weightlifting (Olympic Style) and his mission in life is to serve others on their journey's to becoming the best they can be. Guillien is a native of Caledonia, Minn. E-mail: Jared Hottle begins his fourth season coaching with Dakota State University football team. He is the team's offensive coordinator as well as wide receivers coach. Hottle went to Central College where he was a student assistant for the football team assisting with offensive line for a year and defensive backs for three years. In addition to coaching duties, he also assisted in coordinating video as well as assisting in both in and out-of-season recruiting for the Dutch. Hottle was an Economics and Political Science double major while at Central. He completed his Master's degree in Educational Technology from Dakota State University in December of 2014. Hottle is a native of Waterloo, Iowa. E-mail: Prior to coming to Dakota State, Miller was the defensive backs coach and special teams' coordinator for three years at Briar Cliff University (Iowa) from 2012-14. During his time there, Miller coached two safeties who received All-American honors and were first team All-Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) selections. Briar Cliff's defense set school records in takeaways in a season (33), single season interceptions by a player (6), career interceptions by a player (8) and total tackles by a player in a season (118). Miller's return teams were consistently among the GPAC's best. The kickoff return team broke the school record for the longest kickoff return for a touchdown (99) twice. Before coaching at Briar Cliff, Miller was the defensive backs coach at Illinois College where they set the school record for wins in a season (9) and made the school's first-ever playoff appearance. His other coaching stops include MacMurray College (Ill.), Rockford College (Ill.) and Southwest Minnesota State University. Miller, a native of Marshalltown, Iowa, graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2005 with a bachelor's of arts in Psychology and Sports Psychology. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from Rockford College in 2010. Miller currently resides in Madison. Greg Rohlck is entering his third season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Trojan Football program while serving as the Defensive Backs coach.
