Dallas Baptist University Men's Lacrosse

Knox has been involved in the creation of numerous compliance policies and procedures as well as being instrumental in implementing the new cutting edge website, www.dbupatriots.com. Knox is an active member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC), College Sports Information Directors Association (COSIDA), and the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).  He also serves as the Championships Coordinator for the Heartland Conference and is a member of the NCAA Division II Tennis Championships Committee.  Knox has worked diligently with DBU Administration to successfully lead foreign mission trips to Brazil, China, England, and South Korea through the DBU Athletic Department's Global Sports Mission Initiative. Knox has previously served at Dallas Baptist University as the Director of Student Services, Assistant Director of the DBU Fitness Center, Assistant Director of Apartment Life from 2006-2008, and most recently held the position of Director of Sports Information and Media Relations from 2008-2009, before taking over as the full-time NCAA Compliance Officer in December of 2009. Knox graduated from Dallas Baptist University in August of 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management.  He completed his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at DBU in December of 2009. Knox and his wife, Lauren, a 2010 DBU graduate, reside in Mansfield, Texas and are active members of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield.

Richardson's leadership.    Coach Richardson has developed DBU lacrosse from its inaugural program in 2014/2015 academic year. The Patriots made LSA playoffs in their second year of competition and are looking to be a competitive program for years to come. A Dallas native who began his lacrosse career with Hillcrest Lacrosse Association, he began the sport playing defense and served Hillcrest in his senior year as captain of the team.  He received a scholarship to play for the MCLA Division I, Lindenwood University Lions in St. Louis, Missouri.  In his freshman season, Richardson earned a starting position for the Lions, and was a part of the GRLC Championship team and represented the conference in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association National Tournament. Following his time in Missouri, Coach Richardson returned to Dallas and coached for the Coppell Lacrosse Association from 2006-2009. This culminated in a 2009 State Championship for Coppell as well as ten players being recruited to play high level NCAA Lacrosse across the country. Coach Richardson is a graduate of Missouri Baptist University and in his time there served as Assistant Lacrosse Coach for the MBU Spartans. He has coached programs in Dallas including Iron Horse Select Lacrosse, Dallas Deuces Lacrosse, Parish Episcopal Youth, Allen Youth, St. Phillips-Bridge Lacrosse, and Hebron Lacrosse.  He also coached in Boston, MA at Roxbury Latin School and the competitive select program, NESLL. Coach Richardson brings his great passion for the sport of lacrosse and over twelve years of experience in both coaching and playing the game.
