Bill Davidson
Head Coach
Davidson was named the head coach of the Daniel Webster College field hockey and womens lacrosse programs in late August 2014. Davidson has over 20 years of experience coaching field hockey at the NCAA Division I and III levels, most recently as assistant coach at the University of Vermont (NCAA I) in Burlington, Vt. where he spent two seasons with the Catamounts which followed six seasons as head coach at fellow Division I program Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y. His coaching experience has also included serving three years at New Palz State (NY), as well as at Providence College, the University of California at Santa Barbara, and as coach at California Polytechnic University. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Davidson began playing on the National under-21 team in 1978 and then competed on the National team for a total of 10 years while participating in the Pan American Games as well as Olympic Festivals. Throughout his tenure, he travelled to more than 25 countries and several continents representing the US team. Davidson received his K-12 teaching certificate at California Polytechnic State in 1997 and owned and operated the East West Field Hockey Camp operating in both California and Massachusetts for 20 years. He has also assisted with the Men's National and Junior National Teams, has coached at US Olympic festivals and Super Camps. In addition, Davidson was former director and coach of Santa Barbra field hockey and lacrosse camps.
