Kori Stoffregen
Head Coach
Kori Stoffregen came to DePauw in 1996 as head men's and women's cross country and track and field coach. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS In 29 years at the helm, Stoffregen's teams have captured 31 cross country and track conference championships and he has earned conference coach of the year honors 30 times. Seven women's teams and four men's have competed in the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships The women's cross country team finished a program-best seventh in 2007 at the NCAA Championships Has coached student-athletes to 42 all-America honors including nine in cross country and 33 in track and field Colin Smith won the discus at the 1998 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships and finished second in 1999 Other top individual finishes include Lauren Reich's second-place finish in the indoor 800 meters at the 2010 Division III Championships hosted by DePauw and Polo Burguete's second-place finish in the steeplechase at the 2018 outdoor meet. Courtney Lauer was third in the pentathlon at the 2011 Outdoor Championships and as was ; Lauren Reich's fourth-place finish at the 2009 NCAA Women's Cross Country Championships. Noah Droddy's seventh-place at the 2011 Men's Cross Country Championships and eighth in 2012 were the top-two individual finishes in men's cross country, while Reich was fourth in 2009 Was an instructor in the university's Kinesiology department where he taught several courses including Swimming, Archery, Mini-Marathon, Coaching Techniques II, Scientific Principles of Conditioning and Methods of Teaching Rhythmic and Physical Activities Served as meet director for the DePauw indoor track and field series which annually hosted over 3,000 youth, high school, and collegiate athletes compete at the James A. Hollensteiner Indoor Track In March 2010, for the second time in eight years, DePauw hosted the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships A member of the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association, Stoffregen has served on the executive committee as the Great Lakes Regional Representative for men’s cross country Stoffregen earned a bachelor of science degree from Wartburg College in 1989 and a master of arts from the University of Northern Iowa in 1998. Colt Slack
Associate Head Coach
Colt Slack joined the DePauw staff as associate head track and field coach, recruiting coordinator in January 2021. He coaches primarily the sprints, horizontal jumps and hurdles. AT DEPAUW During his time at DePauw, Slack has coached student-athletes who have: Earned 1 Second Team All-American honor Earned 2 National Qualifying Performances Broken School Records in 10 indoor events, 11 outdoor events among the men's and women's programs! Earned 31 All-Great Lakes Region awards (12 indoor, 19 outdoor) Won 50 individual or relay conference championships (29 indoor, 21 outdoor) Earned 101 All-North Coast Athletic Conference accolades (49 indoor, 52 outdoor) Earned 13 USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual honors Garnered 2 NCAC Newcomer of the Year awards (Grant Hunt, 2023; Shelby Stall, 2024) PRIOR TO DEPAUW Came to DePauw from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, where he was head coach since June 2016. Served as assistant coach at Buena Vista the previous year. Coached 1 all-America, 3 national qualifiers, 10 USTFCCCA All-Academic individuals, 5 USTFCCCA All-Academic teams, 15 All Central-Region performances, 3 IIAC conference champions, 42 all-conference athletes (24 indoor/ 18 outdoor), and 22 school record holders. Prior to Buena Vista, he was an assistant coach at Terre Haute South Vigo High School (2011-12), Plainfield (Indiana) High School (2013-14) and Anderson University (2014-15). Earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana State in 2012 and majored in physical education - exercise science. Was named to the Dean's List and the Department of Nursing, Health, and Human Services Academic Honor Roll. While at ISU, he competed on the track and field team 2008-10 and was a two-time all-Missouri Valley Conference honoree as a member of the 4x400-meter relay. Ran on the fifth-fastest 4x400 relay in school history and the sixth-fastest 4x200 relay. Seventh all-time in the indoor 500 meters. PERSONAL Slack and his wife, Shelbi, reside in Greencastle with their sons, Zion, Tate and Jett.

Megan Daw
Assistant Coach
Daw is in her second season as assistant mens and womens cross country and track and field coach/recruiting coordinator at DePauw after holding a similar position at Defiance College (Ohio). In addition to her recruiting duties for each of the programs, Daw also works with the sprinters, hurdlers and horizontal jumpers. While at Defiance, Daw assisted with all aspects of the program. She was responsible for coordinating all preseason and regular season training plans for sprinters jumpers and hurdlers, while also providing the skills to the athletes to strive off the field through academic achievement. During her tenure at Defiance, the teams set seven track school records and sent a student-athlete to the NCAA Championships Additionally, they brought home 15 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference academic all-conference accolades, six outdoor all-Ohio, six HCAC honorable mention, three indoor all-Ohio and two HCAC Athlete of the Week honors. Daw also has developed additional experience in the coaching realm through her creation of the RUN, JUMP, THROW Track and Field Camp, which she directed from 2004-2006. Furthermore, she volunteered at the 2009 NCAA Cross Country Championships and the 2010 NCAA Track and Field Championships before coaching at the Archbold Track and Field Camp in 2011. A 2010 graduate of John Carroll University, Daw went on to earn her masters degree in education from Defiance in 2012 and is currently a member of the USA Track & Field (USATF) organization. She is USATF Level One certified and in the summer of 2012 earned Level Two certification in jumps. In her time as an undergraduate at John Carroll, Daw was a member of the track and field team for four years, being named captain for her junior and senior campaigns. While in Cleveland, Ohio, she was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee for the duration of her education.

Peter Crary
Assistant Coach
Crary joined the DePauw coaching staff as high jump coach during the 2003-04 academic year and currently coaches high jump, pole vault, javelin, and combined events for both the men’s and women’s teams. As the combined-events coach, he has seen two female athletes post six Division III all-American finishes in the indoor pentathlon and the outdoor heptathlon. While in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), one of his heptathletes was voted Athlete of the Meet at the outdoor championship meet in 2011. In the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), the other was voted field athlete of the meet at the 2022 outdoor championships and track athlete of the meet at the 2022 indoor championships. She was also named Great Lakes Regional field athlete of the year for the 2022 outdoor season after ending the season ranked first in the nation in the heptathlon. Additionally, he has one national qualifier in the high jump and two national qualifiers in the javelin throw. In both the SCAC and NCAC, Crary’s athletes have had 52 all-conference performances, including 16 conference titles. His most recent heptathlete currently holds the NCAC outdoor conference record in the heptathlon. Additionally, his athletes currently hold 13 individual school records and were members of three school-record relays. Crary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 1993. While at Rochester, he earned all-conference honors as a high jumper. Professionally he has earned United States Track and Field (USATF) Level I Coaching Certification and has become a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Combined Events Specialist. He has recently earned USTFCCCA accreditation as a certified strength and conditioning coach. Peter resides in Greencastle with his wife, Sharon (Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Global Health), and his two sons, Connor and Casey.

Jordan Moseby
Assistant Coach
Moseby is in her first year as the assistant women's track and field coach after a successful track career at Hanover College (Hanover, Ind.). Moseby holds the Hanover College outdoor track & field record in the 100 meter hurdles (14.93 seconds in 2014) and as a member broke the 4x100 meter relay record (49.3 seconds in 2013). She also holds the indoor record in the 60-meter hurdles (9.03 seconds in 2013) and as a member broke the 4x200 meter relay record (1:48.25 in 2013). She has previous volunteer coaching experience at Southwestern High School and Ben Davis High School, which is also where she graduated. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in health and movement studies from Hanover.

Alek Erwin
Assistant Coach
Erwin is entering his first year as the assistant women's track & field coach after recently running cross country at Wilmington College (Ohio) and Northeastern High School (Ohio). In 2014, he was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team. He broke seven records and was voted the college's athlete of the week when he ran an 8K course in 25:25.34, breaking the previous school record by less than a second. In high school, Erwin was a four-letter Varsity athlete in cross country, track and basketball. Erwin graduated with a Bachelors of Science and majored in sports management administration at Wilimington.
