DePauw University Women's Field Hockey

Dombkowski was named DePauw's head field hockey coach in May 2015 after serving as assistant field hockey coach at Springfield (Mass.) College. In her first year at DePauw, she guided the Tigers to a 15-5 overall record and finished in second place in the NCAC with a 12-2 record. The Tigers captured the NCAC Tournament Championship and made the program's fifth appearance in the NCAA Division III Championships. Dombkowski joined the Springfield staff in August 2013 and was involved in all aspects of the Pride's program. She served as the interim head coach from October 2014-April 2015 and also was a graduate teaching fellow in the physical education department as well as a wellness supervisor. During the last year she has also worked as an intern for the New England Small College Athletic Conference. While at Springfield, Dombkowski established Empower With Pride, an athletic-wide community service project aimed at teaching elementary school children the power of language in order to create a safer, more inclusive environment. Prior to her time at Springfield, she was an assistant coach at Missouri State University for two seasons which followed a one-year stint at Vassar College.  A 2010 graduate of State University of New York at Oneonta, Dombkowski earned a bachelor of arts degree while majoring in computer art. She started three years in goal for the Red Dragons and ranked 40th in Division III with 7.7 saves per game in 2008. The Carmel, N.Y., native recently earned a master of education degree in athletic administration from Springfield and is a 2012 graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy.
