Deb Zellers, a 1992 DePauw graduate, returned to her alma mater in 1994 at the head volleyball coach. Coaching career Along with assistant coach Sydney Stover was voted North Coast Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Tigers to the 2023 NCAC regular season title. Has posted a 622-341 record in 30 seasons and is the program's winningest coach in both victories and winning percentage Led 2019 team to the program's first North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament title Team made four straight NCAA Division III postseason appearances (2016-19) and six in seven seasons Her 1998 and 2000 squads also earned postseason berths with the 2000 team winning 32 matches Teams have finished first or second in NCAC regular season seven out of 12 years  Finished second in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament four times Led DePauw to 1994 Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title Coached softball for seven seasons with a 129-102-3 record and a .558 winning percentage She led 1998 softball team to its first conference championship in school history and a school-record 21 wins against just nine losses 1998 Tigers entered the Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament seeded third, but won all three games to capture the league title Named the 1998 ICAC Softball Coach of the Year Prior to returning to DePauw she was assistant volleyball coach for two seasons at Oberlin in addition to one season as assistant women's basketball coach and one as the head coach (1993-94) As a DePauw Student Majored in psychology and was a four-year volleyball starter and a two-year starter in basketball as well as a captain in each sport Earned all-conference honors in volleyball in 1989 and 1991 and was an all-district selection in 1990 Volleyball team’s most valuable player in 1991 and the mental attitude award winner in 1990 and 1991 The Tigers earned a trip to the NCAA Division III Championship during her senior year (1991). I coach at DePauw University located in Greencastle, IN. I am starting my second year here and happy to be back in Indiana! I spent 2018- March 2022 as the assistant volleyball coach at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. I played 2014-2017 at Defiance College in northwest Ohio. I grew up in Michigantown, IN and played club volleyball at Munciana. 

Sydney Stover joined the DePauw staff as assistant volleyball coach in March 2022. AT DEPAUW Along with head coach Deb Zellers, was voted North Coast Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year in 2023 after leading Tigers to the regular season championship PRIOR TO DEPAUW Served as an assistant volleyball coach at Millikin University since 2018 Big Blue captured a share of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season title in 2021 Coached nine all-CCIW players Served as recruiting coordinator with Millikin which included 15 recruits in 2020 and 22 in 2021 2020 recipient of the American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business from Defiance College in May 2018 Earned three varsity letters at Defiance and served as a captain in 2017 while also being named to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship Team Member of the 2014 HCAC regular season conference champions Three year Student-Athlete Advisory Committee member While a student at Defiance, served volleyball internships with Purdue, Defiance and Purdue Fort Wayne Coached the Defiance Volleyball Club in age groups from 13 to 17 year olds Masters in Coaching and Administration from University of California-Irvine in 2020
