Dickinson College Women's Swimming

Richards joined the Dickinson staff in 1994 following a highly successful career at Mary Washington College in Virginia. Since coming to Dickinson, he has a 154-75 record with the womens team and a 140-68-1 mark with the mens squad, and has over 400 combined wins in his career. Richards has eight Coach of the Year awards to his credit, including seven Capital Athletic Conference and one Atlantic States Swim Conference honors. In every semester since Richards joined the Dickinson College staff in 1994, Dickinsons swim teams have earned prestigious All-Academic awards from the College Swim Coaches Association of America. The Red Devil men captured the Centennial Conference dual-meet title in 2004 and placed second at the 2014 CC Championships. Jason Adams '14 earned his third Outstanding Performer of the Meet honor at the 2014 championships. Before Richards arrived at Dickinson, he had a highly successful career at Mary Washington College in Virginia where he led his team to nine conference championships. He is an accomplished aquatics clinician and coach and has received numerous awards and citations during his career. He is a 1975 graduate of Bloomsburg State College and earned a M.S. in sports sciences and aquatics administration at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1990. In addition to his coaching and teaching duties, Richards also oversees the operations of Dickinson's year-round aquatics facility.

Bradway helped lead the Huskies to an 8-1 record during her senior year as Bloomsburg finished second at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships. She was a team representative for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, serving a term as the organization president. Bradway has served as an assistant coach for the Medford Village swim team for the past four summers, working with a number of different age groups, with athletes ranging from 5-19 years old. She has also spent the last five years working as a lifeguard at the Medford Sports Club. Bradway earned a B.S. in speech pathology and audiology and was a member of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA), serving as the treasurer from 2012-2013. She will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Red Devil mens and womens swimming programs while also serving as an assistant to the aquatics director.
