Dominican University (CA) Men's Lacrosse

Klontz joined the Penguins for the 2015 season and serves as the lacrosse team's assistant coach and defensive coordinator. Prior to Dominican, Klontz coached at Terra Linda High School. Klontz served as the youth and high school director for Madlax-California for two seasons while directing the Boys Lacrosse Program for the Central Marin Bluejays. Klontz played defense for Sandy Spring Friends School in Maryland, where he earned team MVP accolades and Washington Post All-Metropolitan honors. He played for Coach Joe Breschi at the Ohio State University as part of the Buckeye squad that finished first in the GWLL before bowing out in the NCAA quarterfinals. While there, he was named an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete. Klontz finished his collegiate career at St. Marys College of Maryland in the highly competitive Capital Athletic Conference for Coach Chris Hasbrouck. He graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2012. In his downtime, Klontz enjoys biking, hiking, camping, and enjoying the Bay Areas outdoor offerings. He resides in San Francisco.

Vogel-Seidenberg was named the fourth head coach in the history of the Dominican lacrosse program in July 2015. He joins Dominican from the University of Idaho, where he was head coach of the MCLA Division I program since 2013. While in Idaho, he oversaw coaching duties, recruitment, video coordination, and fundraising. He twice led the Vandals to the most wins in school history and to a playoff berth in 2015. Vogel-Seidenberg had additional stints at Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania as assistant coach, head recruiter, and video coordinator for the NCAA Division III Presidents (2012-13); at Oak Park High School as junior varsity head lacrosse coach (2011-12); PO Starz head lacrosse coach (2011-12); and head womens lacrosse coach at Humboldt State, where he helped start the program (2009-10). A four-year player at Westlake High School in Thousand Oaks, California, Vogel-Seidenberg went on to play four seasons at Humboldt State (MCLA D2), where he was captain and starting goalkeeper. There, he earned a film degree in 2010. He is scheduled to earn his M.S. in Recreation and Sports Sciences with a concentration in coaching from Ohio University in 2016.
