Erika Blanco
Head Coach
Blanco was the Head Coach at Long Beach City College from 2004 to 2007. She guided the Vikings to the Southern Regional playoffs in 2006 and 2007. Blanco was an assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton from 2000 to 2002 and helped the Titans to consecutive Big West Conference championships in 2001 and 2002. Her coaching career began in 1997 when she was named Coach at Bullard High School in Fresno, where she coached for three seasons. Her teams were league champions each season and were CIF, state, and national champions in 1999. She was named Coach of the Year all three seasons and in 1999 she and her staff were honored as National Fastpitch Coaching Association West Regional Coaching Staff of the Year. As a player Coach Blanco played at Fresno State under Coach Margie Wright 1992-96. At Fresno State the Bulldogs were WAC Champions in 1996 and earned a spot in the Softball College World Series in 1995.
