Eastern University Men's Cross Country

Wilson was named the founding coach for Eastern University Men's and Women's Track & Field program in the 2015-16 school year. Wilson is also the head coach for Eastern's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams has led those programs since the 2011 season. A 2010 graduate of Eastern, Wilson holds the school record for the fastest 8K cross country time. Wilson ran track in high school at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in Ohio, specializing in distance events, mainly the 800m and 1600m. Wilson was all-state and was a multi-time all-conference runner and conference champion in everything from the 4x400m relay to the 3200m run. Because Eastern did not have a track program when he was a student, Wilson ran unattached in track events and specialized in the 1500m and 5000m runs.
