Edward Waters University Women's Softball

I have been a coach at Edward Waters University for the last four years, beginning as the pitching coach in fall of 2021.  I took over as the Head Coach in January of 2023.  I have a combined record of 108-49 the last 3 years as head coach.  I am currently the all-time winningest softball coach in EWU history.  I am the only softball coach to never have a losing season, and the only head coach to have 3 straight winning seasons.  In 2023, we won the most games in Edward Waters athletics history with 43 wins and were the only HBCU regardless of classification (NCAA or NAIA) to win 40 games in a season. We were named the back-to-back HBCU National Champions by Black College Sports Network in 2022 & 2023.  We won the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Eastern Division in 2023 & 2025 and finished runner-up in 2024 by one game.  We were the SIAC Conference Champions in 2023. I have had 4 pitchers make all-conference teams in my four years as the pitching coach / head coach.  Including the 2023 SIAC Conference Tournament Championship Most Valuable Player.  I have had a total of 9 players make the SIAC All-Conference teams.  I have had 6 players (3 pitchers and 3 position players) be selected to the MSP HBCU National All-Star game. I have had 24 players (12 - 2023 & 12 - 2024) make the SIAC All-Academic awards, including 1 pitcher named to the SIAC All-Academic team in both years.
