Darrin Lenhart

Head Coach

Darrin Lenhart enters his first season at the helm of the Elizabethtown College baseball team after being named the 11th coach in program history in Dec. 2025.  Lenhart has served as the assistant baseball coach at East Stroudsburg University since 2020. During his five seasons with the program, the team has amassed 176 wins with; a .690 winning percentage. ESU appeared in the NCAA Division II Tournament for four straight seasons while reaching two super regionals prior to appearing in their first-ever NCAA World Series in 2025. As a member of the pitching staff, Lenhart helped bring the team earned run average (ERA) down from 6.67 to 3.07 in five seasons. While at ESU he was also responsible for managing the budget, planning travel, and helped to maintain compliance with NCAA rules. Lenhart brings over 20 years of coaching experience to Etown after starting his career as head baseball coach at William Allen High School in 2003. Following his four years at William Allen, Lenhart served as the assistant baseball coach at Emmaus High School. After his stint at the high school level, Lenhart served as co-manager for the Northern Yankees of the Blue Mountain League. In 2008, he became the assistant baseball coach at Lehigh Carbon Community College before becoming the head coach in 2009. While at Lehigh Carbon, Lenhart built the program into a regional and national contender. He guided the program through acceptance as a division III junior college affiliated with the NJCAA to becoming a division II junior college. At Lehigh Carbon, Lenhart was also responsible for player recruitment, practice and game scheduling, fundraising, and academic oversight. Lenhart graduated from William Allen High School in Allentown and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.  At Pittsburgh, Lenhart was a member of the baseball team where he led the Panthers in hitting in three out of his four years. He went on to earn his secondary teacher certificate in biology from DeSales University in 2005. He completed his graduate coursework in biology education & educational leadership from Wilkes University and then in 2018, he earned his Master of Science in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg. Lenhart holds his doctorate degree in health science-movement science from Seton Hall University, which he completed in 2021. Lenhart is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the Mid-Atlantic American College of Sports Medicine (MARC), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the International Society for Biomechanics in Sports (ISBS).

Eric Yoder

Assistant Coach

Eric Yoder is in his eighth year as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown College baseball team in 2025-2026. He spent the last seven years with Coach Sheibley making the Blue Jays contenders for not only the Landmark Conference championship but also helping the Jays make three consecutive NCAA DIII Tournament appearances. The Blue Jays won the Landmark Championship in 2022 and compiled back to back 30+ win seasons in 2023 and 2024 (tying the school record for wins with 33 in 2024).   During Coach Yoder’s time with the Blue Jays, he has been a part of winning records in 5 of the 7 seasons, with the Blue Jays finishing with a .500 record in the Landmark Championship season in 2022.   Elizabethtown has had 40 all-conference selections, 3 consecutive Players of the Year, a Rookie of the Year and a Pitcher of the Year. The Blue Jays have also had 16 All-Region selections and 1 All American during Yoder’s time with the program. Coach Yoder’s primary responsibility is working with the catchers and the Jays have had 4 all-conference catchers during his tenure. The Jays staff was also chosen as the Landmark Coaching Staff of the Year in 2023. The Blue Jays have a 154-102 record since 2019.   Prior to joining the Elizabethtown program, Coach Yoder was an assistant coach at Dickinson College for 15 seasons. Yoder was part of a staff who set then school records for wins in a season in both 2011 (21) and 2012 (25). Dickinson earned 26 All-Centennial conference selections during Yoder’s tenure. Yoder coached 4 all-conference catchers including a conference Gold Glove winner (Rick Hopkins) who established a conference record for runners caught stealing in a season (24). Dickinson also had multiple All-Region selections during Yoder’s time with the program.   Coach Yoder is a 1994 graduate of Dickinson College and has a Master’s in Higher Education from Clemson University (1997). He has worked for Dauphin County Children and Youth since 2001.

Jim Tetkoskie

Assistant Coach

Jim Tetkoskie enters his 14th season as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown College baseball team in 2024. Elizabethtown has registered 181 victories with Tetkoskie on staff. In 2024, Etown tied the program record for wins in a season with 33 as the team was the Landmark Conference runner-up and then made their third straight trip the NCAA DIII Tournament. The team advanced to the NCAA DIII Harrisburg, Pa. Regional final which is the farthest the Blue Jays have gone in program history. In 2017, the Blue Jays enjoyed their winningest season since 2009 with a 28-17 record. Etown won its first Landmark Conference Championship in its third season in the league and was an NCAA Division III Regional qualifier for the first time since 2009. Tetkoskie helped the 2014 team to three victories over nationally-ranked opponents. Tetkoskie joined Smith's staff prior to the 2013 season after a seven-year stay at Penn State Harrisburg. He spent the last four seasons (2009-12) as head coach, winning 49 games. The Nittany Lions won 18 games with Tetkoskie at the helm in 2009. Prior to taking on head coaching duties, Tetkoskie assisted with fundraising, recruitment and player development for three seasons (2005-08). Tetkoskie eventually found his way to Middletown where he helped the Penn State Harrisburg program take off in 2005. Tetkoskie earned a bachelor of science in structural design and construction engineering technology from Penn State in 1992. He currently works for Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson as a project engineer. Zach Silfies

Assistant Coach

Zach Silfies enters his first year as assistant baseball coach for the 2025-26 season at Elizabethtown.  Silfies was a member of the Etown baseball team for five years and after completing his undergraduate degree in accounting and sports marketing he continued on to start to earn his masters degree with the Blue Jays. In 2025, Silfies then went on to play one year at Ryder University to complete his masters degree.
