Denis Tobin enters his second season as the head coach of the Elmira College men's basketball program in the 2026-27 academic year. Tobin was introduced as the ninth head coach in Elmira men's basketball history after being hired in June of 2025.  In Tobin's first season he had an 8-17 record with a 3-13 conference record. Tobin picked up wins against Hartwick College, Alfred University, and Houghton University. Elmira would rank second in the Empire 8 in Free Throws Made Per Game, Offensive Rebounds Per Game, Rebounds Per Game, and Three Pointers Per Game. Kelton Brown '28 ranked third in the conference in Field Goal Percentage, Alec Mercer '28 ranked third in Three Pointers Per Game, and Emmanuel Karkari-Mensah ranked fourth in Free Throw Percentage. Tobin most recently served as Assistant Coach at Colby College, where he helped guide the Mules to multiple winning seasons in the highly competitive New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). The Mules finished the 2022-23 season with a 20-7 record, as Tobin contributed in coaching a First Team All-NESCAC and a 2nd Team All-Region One player in Will King. Prior to his time at Colby, he served as an Assistant Coach at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), contributing to one of the most consistently successful programs in NCAA Division III. The Goats won the NEWMAC tournament in 2021-22 and advanced to the NCAA Elite 8, losing to the eventual National Champion Randolph-Macon. The Goats were recognized with three all-league players, including the National Rookie of the Year, John Adams. Tobin began his collegiate coaching career as a Graduate Assistant at Suffolk University, where he was instrumental in recruiting and player development during his two seasons with the Rams. Tobin graduated from Clark University in 2019 and served as the team captain during his senior year, winning the NEWMAC Sportsmanship Award. He earned his master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University.

Brady Harrington will begin his third season as coach for the Elmira College mens basketball program during the 2024-25 academic year. Prior to joining the Soaring Eagles, Harrington served as a Graduate Assistant in the NE10 conference for the Saint Rose mens basketball program. During his time in Albany, he also completed his masters degree in Educational Psychology.  Leading up to his college coaching experience, Harrington spent the 2021-2022 season in the ABA as an Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Coach for the Binghamton Bulldogs. This included running summer camps, 1 on 1 workout trainings and coaching semi-professional athletes. His off-season consisted of head coaching a 17u AAU program for the Binghamton City Rocks. Becoming the Assistant Coach at Lee Academy (AAA prep school in the NEPSAC conference) got Harringtons foot in the door to coaching at the higher level for mens basketball in 2020. The Pandas that year sent numerous players to the next level including four athletes going division one.  Harrington received his associates degree from SUNY Broome while playing for the baseball and basketball programs from 2016-2018. He was a 2020 graduate of SUNY Cortland earning a bachelors degree in Physical Education.
