KC Rock

Head Coach

Rock was able to lead the Eagles back to the NAIA national tournament where Anton King earned All-American Honors.  In 2016 two more wrestlers under Coach Rock earned Academic Honors, and the Eagles had four more national qualifiers.   Before taking over at Embry-Riddle in 2012 Coach Rock spent six seasons on the staff at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT.  Coach Rock helped lead the Wolverines to their most successful season ever, when they broke a school record with wins in a season, finishing 2008-09 with an 11-3 record.  UVU also posted a 4-1 record in the WWC, which was good enough for a second place finish in conference.  While at Utah Valley he also guided Ben Kjar to a 4th-place finish, and All-American recognition.  Prior to joining the staff at Utah Valley, Coach Rock spent 4 seasons as an assistant at the University of Wyoming, and two seasons coaching at his alma-mater, Boise State.  While at Boise State, Rock helped guide the Broncos to a Pac-10 Championship in 2002, and a 19 th place finish at the NCAA Tournament, while guiding 125 lb Ben VomBauer to All-American.  While a wrestler at Boise State, Rock was a two-time National Qualifier. He was the Pac-10 Champion at 125-pounds, and was named the Pac-10 Tournament's Most Outstanding wrestler in 2000, after pinning all four of his opponents.  Prior to his time at Boise State, Coach Rock was an All-American at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. Coach Rock earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Boise State in 2000.  He and his wife, Darelyn, have four children; Keller, Emery, Amelia and Reese.
