Brendan Rickert

Head Coach

Rickert was a standout runner at Sacred Heart University and brings with him coaching experience at various levels. He came to Fairfield from Weston High School, where he served two seasons as head cross country coach. A 2010 graduate of Sacred Heart, Rickert was one of the Pioneers' top harriers during his career. His tenure included two top-15 individual finishes at the Northeast Conference Championship. A native of Danbury, Conn., Rickert also holds a Master of Exercise Science and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Sacred Heart, where he is also a member of the faculty.

Kimberly Bartlett

Assistant Coach

Bartlett has coached cross country and track and field at the scholastic level since her graduation from Marist College in 2012. A Fairfield native, Bartlett has been a Biology teacher in the Fairfield school district since the fall of 2013. During that time, she has served on the cross country and track and field coaching staffs at Fairfield Warde High School, Fairfield Ludlowe High School and Roger Ludlowe Middle School. As a student-athlete, Bartlett competed for four years on the cross country and track and field teams at Marist. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology, and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Secondary Biology Education from the University of Bridgeport.

Howie Rosas

Assistant Coach

Rosas spent four seasons with the Stags, serving as team captain during his junior and senior campaigns. He was one of Fairfields top-runners all four seasons, earning All-MAAC honors and helping the Stags to an IC4A University Championship by finishing as the runner-up in 2012. He also helped Fairfield to four consecutive Leeber Invitational Team Championships. Off the course, Rosas served as the co-president of the Fairfield University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He was also involved in Campus Ministry and received the Athletic Departments William Wallin Award for service. Rosas graduated from Fairfield in May 2014 with a degree in biology. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the University of Bridgeport.
