Scarpello enters his 14th season as the Devils' head mens lacrosse coach. In 2009, Scarpello led the Devils to the Middle Atlantic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championship while also appearing in the NCAA Tournament.  It was the first time FDU has done both in a season since 1981. Scarpello brings with him more than 23 years of coaching experience. He currently has the Devils on a streak of 10 straight appearances in the Conference Tournament with appearances in the Tournament Finals in 2004, 2009, 2010, and 2012. Prior to FDU, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Delaware and the head coach at Cabrini College. Scarpello also founded the boys lacrosse program at his alma mater, Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Scarpello is the US Lacrosse men's collegiate representative of the New Jersey chapter and is on the USLIA All-American selection committee and is a Site Supervisor for the NCAA Tournament. Fritog enters his first season as an assistant on the FDU-Florham coaching staff. Prior to coming to Madison, Fritog played four-years  of lacrosse at Muhlenberg College where he graduated with a B.A. in Historical Studies in 2012. During his senior campaign at Muhlenberg, Fritog was named team captain. A native of Ridgewood, N.J., Fritog played four years of lacrosse and football at Ridgewood High School and was named lacrosse team captain during his senior season. In 2013, he returned to coach the Ridgewood lacrosse squad before leaving to pursue the position at FDU. Fritog is currently working toward his Masters degree in secondary education here at FDU.
