Kelsey Richardson
Head Coach
Kelsey Richardson was hired as the Florida Tech Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in June 2023. Richardson led the Panthers to two ranked wins in the 2025 season both coming against Rollins. They defeated the Tars 14-12 on Feb. 21 when Rollins was ranked No. 17 and again on Mar. 29 where Rollins came in at No. 13. Florida Tech would be ranked as high as No. 19 in her second season at the helm. The team earned their second SSC Freshman of the Year in program history as Clare McGuire received the honors. Additionally, Sophia Scichilone earned a spot on the All-SSC First Team while Clare McGuire and Gillian Craig were selected to the second team. In 2024, her inaugural season at the helm of the program, Richardson guided the team to a 7-10 overall record with a 1-6 SSC record. She led the Panthers past #18 Saint Anselm on Thursday, March 14th by a score of 17-15. She helped the Panthers receive a No.19 ranking in the IWLCA polls during the season which was the Panther's highest rank in the national poll since the 2021 Preseason Poll. Richardson came to Florida Tech after serving on the Campbell University women's lacrosse coaching staff since 2021, where she played a significant role in back-to-back record-setting seasons. Over her two seasons, Richardson assisted in producing a 22-14 record, a Big South title game appearance, seven all-conference selections, and five top individual honors with back-to-back Big South Defensive and Midfielder of the Year selections, as well as a Scholar-Athlete of the Year honoree. Additionally, the Camels ranked among the top 10 nationally in several statistical categories. In her first season at CU, Richardson helped the Camels to a school record-tying 10 wins, setting a school record for Big South victories in a single year with seven. CU also set another program record with seven consecutive wins during the 2022 campaign. Defensively, the Camels were among the best teams in the nation, ranking among the nation's top 10 in caused turnovers (seventh, 11.29) and ground balls (third, 20.94). The 2023 season saw new records set in total wins (12), goals, assists, points, draw controls, ground balls, and caused turnovers. They led the nation in ground balls per game (20.63) and caused turnovers per game (14.11). The program reached the Big South title game for the second time in program history and the first since 2017, where they fell to Mercer by one goal. Prior to Campbell, Richardson was the assistant girls' coach at IMG Academy from 2019-21. She was responsible for all team planning, organization, and communications for IMG's girl's lacrosse program, as well as designing training programs. At IMG, Richardson also implemented the program's "Leadership Council" and Empowered Female Athlete group to provide more value for athletes. Additionally, Richardson has coached at the club level, serving as head coach of the Orange Crush Girls (2013-15), West Tampa Wolves Youth Lax Club (2016-19), and the Lax Maniax 2023 Black (2018-19). A former Syracuse goalie and team captain, Richardson helped the Orange to four straight NCAA Final Four berths (2012-15), including two national championship game appearances in 2012 and 2014, a 2015 ACC Championship title, and a 2012 Big East title. The fourth-time conference all-academic team performer ranks among Syracuse's all-time saves leaders with 329. A 2015 graduate of Syracuse, Richardson earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Athletic Coaching. Corinne Desrosiers
Assistant Coach
Desrosiers guided Florida Tech to a 10-7 overall record, including a 2-2 mark in the Sunshine State Conference, and the No. 3 seed in the 2016 SSC Tournament. FITs season concluded with a narrow 15-14 defeat to No. 6 Rollins in the SSC Semifinals. Among the most crowning moments of the season was a come-from-behind 11-10 overtime victory against No. 6 New Haven on March 14, marking the Panthers first-ever victory over a ranked opponent. Desrosiers was named the 2016 SSC Coach of the Year while junior midfielder Allie Modica was named SSC Player of the Year, both were firsts for the program. Florida Tech had eight All-SSC selections that season, which was tied for most in the league, including five First Team All-SSC honorees. Modica also raked in IWLCA First Team All-South Region and was named a IWLCA Second Team All-American, becoming the first AA recipient in program history. In her first season at FIT in 2014-15, Desrosiers led Florida Tech to a successful inaugural season despite guiding a roster of 15 freshmen and sophomores. FIT finished with a 7-9 overall record, including 1-3 in the Sunshine State Conference. The Panthers' first ever game was a home contest versus Roberts Wesleyan on Feb. 16, 2015. Florida Tech fell to the Redhawks 19-11, but the team rebounded to win it's next game against Ave Maria 18-0 on Feb. 22. FIT went on to win three of its next four games against Virginia-Wise, Coker and SCAD, averaging just over 19 goals per game in those contests. In all seven victories during the 2015 season, Desrosiers' squad scored an average of 19.43 goals per game and allowed 7.57. FIT claimed the program's first road win in a 20-8 win against Young Harris on March 28. A road victory against Tampa on April 11 gave Florida Tech its first SSC win and propelled the team into the fourth seed of the inaugural SSC Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The Panthers matched up with No. 1 Florida Southern in the first round of the tournament, falling to the Mocs 19-9 to put an end to FIT's first season. Underclassmen played a huge role on Desrosiers' 2015 squad. Seven of the Panthers' 2015 starters were freshmen and the top six scorers were all underclassmen. Leading the pack was sophomore Allie Modica (51 goals and 17 assists) and freshman Sara Grenier (60 goals, 8 assists), each with 68 points on the season. Modica ranked second in the SSC in ground balls per game, third in goals per game, points per game and draw controls per game, and sixth in assists per game. Grenier also performed brilliantly, finishing first in the SSC in game-winning goals and free-possession goals, second in goals per game and third in points per game. Other freshmen who were major contributors in 2015 are Caroline Dunleavy with 53 points, Mary Gormley with 41 points and Stephanie Stuart who started every game in goal for the Panthers. Four Panthers were selected to the 2015 All-SSC Teams. Modica and Grenier earned First Team All-Conference while Gormley and fellow freshman Allie Wood were selected to the second team. Modica also brought the program its first regional distinction when she was named to the IWLCA Third Team All-South Region. Prior to Florida Tech, Desrosiers served six seasons at the helm of Merrimack College. Arguably the toughest women's lacrosse conference in Division II (Northeast-10 Conference), Desrosiers led the Warriors to an 8-6 record, a 7-3 NEC mark and a conference tournament berth in 2008, her first season at the helm. Her teams reached the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament five straight years from 2008-12. In 2010, her squad set a school record in wins after finishing the season with a 12-3 record and a No. 9 national ranking. She was named WomensLacrosse.com Division II National Coach of the Year following the season. Her team also won 12 games in 2011 and was ranked nationally from 2010-12. Under Desrosiers watch, Merrimack compiled a 52-44 overall record and a 42-25 conference record from 2008-13. Her wins total was the most of any Merrimack womens lacrosse coach since the programs inaugural season in 1998-99. During her six seasons at Merrimack, Desrosiers recruited, developed and coached several players who excelled both on the field and in the classroom. Her 2012 team was named to the Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Association Academic Squad with a combined 3.2 cumulative grade point average. In 2010, Desrosiers squad received the inaugural Northeast-10 Academic Excellence Award as the top program within the conference for overall GPA. She graduated several All-Americans, including three during the 2010 season, while also developing several all-academic, all-region and all-conference student-athletes. One of her three All-Americans in 2010 was also named the Unsung Hero of Division II by WomensLacrosse.com. She was also the director of student-athlete welfare at Merrimack from August 2011 to June 2013. She oversaw 400 student-athletes, focusing on the student-athlete experience, academic success and progression, and retention along with transition efforts. Prior to Merrimack, Desrosiers was an assistant coach for Division III lacrosse and field hockey at University of New England at Biddeford in Maine beginning in August 2006. Her duties included scouting, recruiting and organizing the program in-season and out-of-season. Following her season there, Desrosiers spent one season as the assistant coach for Northeast-10 rival Bryant University. A 2006 graduate of Bridgewater State College, she is tied for fourth in draw controls in a game, fourth in draw controls in a season and sixth in draw controls in a career in program history as of summer 2013. She was a two-time captain and 2006 Prague Cup selection.

Hanna Hilcoff
Assistant Coach
Hilcoff was hired as the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach in July of 2024. Hilcoff held an Olympic Sports Nutrition Internship at Clemson during the Fall 2023 semester where she engaged in active sports nutrition shadowing and was tasked with gaining further knowledge in ways to fuel athletes of various sports for peak performance. During the summers of 2019 and 2021 she spent her time as a Camp Counselor and Lacrosse instructor at Camp Metaponi in Naples, Maine. There she upheld responsibilities for campers while gaining listening and problem-solving skills along with preparing new lacrosse-related daily activities. Her coaching experience extends to working with LaxMania Club Lacrosse in Jupiter, Florida during the summer of 2020. Her responsibilities included organizing and instructing practices and games while teaching new skills to players and guiding young women while establishing excitement for the athletes around the sport. A successful Division I scholar-athlete, Hilcoff spent two seasons at Clemson University following her transfer from the University of Oregon. Throughout her combined five seasons, two at Clemson and three at Oregon, she played in a total of 69 games, 168 goals, 29 assists for 197 points with 293 shots on goal, 0.771 shots on goal percentage, and a 0.442 shooting percentage. Defensively she finished her career with 212 draw control wins with 45 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers. In 2024 she was named a Preseason All-American Honorable Mention after she led the Tigers with a career-high 51 goals the following year in 2023. Her senior year was the Tiger’s inaugural season in which Hilcoff scored the first goal in Clemson Lacrosse history in just under 40 seconds of the program’s first game. During her three seasons at Oregon, Hilcoff was named Second Team All-Pac 12 during her sophomore (2022) and junior (2021) years. During her time in Eugene, Oregon she became the fastest player in Ducks history to record 100 career goals in which she scored 101 in 37 career games. Since 2021 Hilcoff has also appeared for the Israeli National Team in which she competed at the 2022 World Games as her team finished 5th place in the world amongst over 100 competing countries. She has earned both an NFHS Coaching Certification and an NFHS Strength and Condition Certification from Clemson University. A Jupiter, Florida native, Hilcoff earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2022. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Preprofessional Health Studies at Clemson University in which she is expected to graduate in August 2024.
