Associate Head Coach
Carla Morrow was named associate head coach at Fordham in May of 2026 after serving on the Ohio State women’s basketball staff since 2029, the last five years as associate head coach. In 2025-2026 Morrow, who was named to the ABIS Basketball Coaches Watch List, helped the Buckeyes to a 27-8 record, the program’s fifth consecutive season with 25 or more wins, and totaling six ranked victories. Ohio State’s 13-5 conference record was tied for the fourth-best in the league and the Buckeyes made their fourth Big Ten Tournament semifinals appearance in the past five seasons. Ohio State earned a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and was one of six teams to host four consecutive seasons. Individually, Jaloni Cambridge put together one of the best seasons in program history, scoring 813 points (ranks fourth among all-time program leaders and only trails Kelsey Mitchell) and making 305 field goals (ranks third in program history). Cambridge was on the national ballot for the Wooden Award, an All-American selection (AP, The Athletic, ESPN, USBWA, The Sporting News, honorable mention from USA Today), WBCA Coaches’ All-America regional finalist, unanimous All-Big Ten First Team selection and was on watch lists for the Naismith Trophy, Wooden Award and Dawn Staley Award. Five Buckeyes earned All-Big Ten recognition. Ohio State finished third in the Big Ten in 2024-2025 with a 26-7 overall record, including four ranked wins, and a 13-5 mark in Big Ten play. Ohio State went undefeated at home (15-0) during the regular season for the first time since 2011-12. The Buckeyes earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The 2023-24 team captured the program’s first outright regular season Big Ten title since 2009-10, finishing with a 16-2 conference record. Ohio State earned a #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010, A total of five players were named All-Big Ten, highlighted by Celeste Taylor’s selection as the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. Following the season, two Buckeyes were selected in the WNBA Draft for the first time since the 2018 draft and the third time in program history. In 2022-23, the Buckeyes made their first NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 30 years and finished with a 28-8 overall record. OSU earned a program-best nine wins against ranked opponents and recorded the most steals (406) in program history. Cotie McMahon was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year to highlight five All-Big Ten selections. The Buckeyes won a share of the Big Ten regular season championship in 2021-22, finishing the conference schedule with a 14-4 record. OSU went on to earn a six-seed in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2017. Morrow began her Ohio State coaching career in September of 2019 following a three-year run as an assistant coach for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky. From 2007-2011, Morrow’s served as an assistant coach at Xavier University. In all, Morrow was with the Xavier program for 10 years, helping compile a 184-128 overall record and an 87-59 mark in conference action. The Musketeers also captured six Atlantic 10 Championships and advanced to four NCAA Tournaments highlighted by an Elite Eight appearance in 2010. Morrow also has professional coaching experience, serving as an assistant with the Chicago Sky from 2017-2019. Morrow also served as the director of basketball operations for two years at Colorado (2005-2007) for two years at Missouri State (2003-2005). As a player, Morrow was a four-year standout guard at Tulsa from 1998-2002. She was the first player in Tulsa history with 1,000 points and 600 rebounds in a career. She finished her career ranking second in 3-point field goals (122), total field goals (427), rebounds (642), steals (201) and games played on the Golden Hurricane career charts and was third in scoring with 1,115 points. Morrow was named to the All-Western Athletic Conference Second Team as a senior in 2002, averaging 12.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. She signed a free agent contract with the WNBA’s Seattle Storm in 2002 to become the first Golden Hurricane to sign a professional contract. Morrow graduated from Tulsa in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. Morrow earned her master’s degree in physical education from Missouri State in 2004.

Jessica Simmonds
Assistant Coach
Jessica Simmonds was named an assistant women’s basketball coach at Fordham in May of 2026. Simmonds arrived at Rose Hill after serving as the Associate head women’s basketball coach/recruiting coordinator at FDU from 2023-2026. She helped the Knights to back-to-back Northeast Conference (NEC) titles and NCAA Championship appearances in 2025 and 2026. The 2024-25 team recorded a then program record 29 wins which was bettered the next year when the Knights won 30 games. Over those two seasons, FDU went undefeated in NEC play and multiple student-athletes earned NEC All-Conference honors, including back-to-back Defensive Players of the Year (2024, 2025). Simmonds led all recruiting efforts at FDU, identifying and securing high-level Division I talent, and managed all recruiting compliance responsibilities and recruiting database systems. She also oversaw recruiting and operational budgets and coordinated non-conference scheduling. The 2023-2026 stint was the second of Simmonds at FDU. She was also an assistant coach for the Knights from 2019-2022 and was part of the 2021-22 NEC Regular Season Championship team which played in the 2022 WNIT, FDU’s first appearance in the postseason tournament. Simmonds coached several All-NEC selections, including the 2022 NEC Player of the Year. In between stretches at FDU, Simmonds served as an assistant women's basketball coach/recruiting coordinator at VCU in 2022-2023. She planned workouts for post players, assisted with scouting and walkthroughs/practices, and provided academic support for student-athletes. Prior to her first position at FDU, Simmonds was an assistant coach at Siena from 2016-2019 where she coached one First Team All-MAAC and one Second Team All-MAAC player in first season and developed two Second Team All-MAAC selections in second season. Simmonds has also served as an assistant coach at Passaic County Community College (2015-2016), Chesapeake College (2013-2014) and Hampton University (2011-2012). A graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Simmonds was a First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection as a senior and earned Second Team accolades as a junior. She was also a Street & Smith Honorable Mention All-America candidate as a senior. The Revolutionaries won A-10 championships from 2003-06 with Simmonds on the squad and advanced to the NCAA Second Round in 2005 and 2006. Simmonds started her collegiate career at Providence College where she was named to the BIG EAST All-Rookie team as a freshman. Following graduation, Simmonds was a member of the Jamaican National Basketball Team as a Pre-Olympic Qualifier, playing against the U.S., Cuba, Mexico and Argentina, and also played professionally in Greece, Latvia and Turkey.

Kelly Guarino
Assistant Coach
Kelly Guarino was named an assistant women’s basketball coach at Fordham in May of 2026. Guarino arrives at Fordham from her alma mater, NJIT, where she served as assistant coach/director of player development from 2024-2026. She helped the Highlanders earn their first ever WNIT bid in 2026 where NJIT defeated Merrimack in the first round for the Highlander’s first postseason victory. NJIT closed out the year with 19 wins (the most on the Division I level), the most conference and non-conference wins, and with the highest NET ranking in over 15 years. Individually, Guarino developed All-Conference guards including Alejandra Zuniga (program all-time leading scorer, 1,741 points who signed a pro contract Spain) and Olivia Kulyk (2025 Rookie o fthe Year and two-time All-Conference selection). A 2019 NJIT graduate, Guarino began her collegiate coaching career at Wagner, where she was responsible for Player Development of the guards before returning to NJIT. Prior to her time at Wagner, Guarino acted as the Owner and Director of Empire State Basketball Club, where she assisted in placing over 25 high school women’s basketball players with NCAA programs and was responsible for Player Development. She cached ten teams and over 80 players along with managing schedules, travel arrangements, and social media accounts. The Thiells, N.Y. native served as the head women’s basketball coach at Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, NY for two seasons (2022-24) where she transformed a losing program into a winning record. She also acted as a Special Education Teacher. As a player at NJIT, Guarino became one of 12 Highlanders to score over 1,000 points and set the school-record for most three-pointers made (250). Guarino ranks first all-time in free-throw percentage (86.2), and second in three-point percentage (35.7). Guarino, who appeared in 106 games, starting 97, scored a career-high 28 points in a win against Colgate on December 14, 2018, connecting on seven threes. She scored over 20+ points five times in her final season at NJIT. She became the first female NJIT student-athlete to earn ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors in 2019. A two-time ASUN All-Academic team honoree, Guarino graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Minor in Communications (2018) and an MBA (2019), boosting a 3.955 GPA. Guarino graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in 2021 with a Master of Science in Teaching, a Dual Certification, in Childhood Education and Special Education (Grades 1-6).

Tommy King
Assistant Coach
Joining the Ramily with over 10 years of experience at the Division I level, Tommy King was named as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the women’s basketball program in August of 2025. King has spent the past 11 years as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at his alma mater, Morgan State University, where he worked primarily with the women’s basketball team, in addition to numerous other sports for the Morgan State athletic department. All of King’s teams achieved on the field of play, with women’s basketball finishing top three in the conference five times in the last eight years, and saw its first regular season championship with King on staff in 2022. Also serving two stints as Interim Director of Strength and Conditioning, King managed the day to day operations of the department, and worked closely with his student-athletes on conditioning, rehabilitation, and nutrition, helping implement new ideas and innovative sports science technology to get the most out of athletes’ performances. A graduate of Morgan State University with a Bachelor’s in Physical Education in 2012, King stayed at Morgan State for his Master’s of Business Administration in 2015.

Audrey Abreu
Coach
Audrey Abreu joins the women's basketball staff full-time for the 2025-26 campaign, serving as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations. Abreu, who graduated from Fordham last Spring, spent her entire four-year tenure on Rose Hill serving as a manager for the Women's Basketball team, serving as the Head Manager her senior campaign. In that role she assisted in the setup and breakdown of practices, as well as logging statistics and creating schedules and tasks lists for the rest of the managers on staff. Over her time in New York, Abreu has also worked with the New York Mets as an Event Concierge Rep, assisting with various evens at Citi Field. Abreu earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the Gabelli School of Business.

Greg Callan
Coach
Greg Callan was named a player development coach at Fordham in May of 2026. Callan joins the Fordham staff after serving as an assistant coach with current Fordham head coach Neil Harrow at Long Island University in 2025-2026. He helped the Sharks to a 21-11 overall record, 14-4 in the NEC. LIU advanced to the NEC Championship game, LIU’s first appearance in the title game since the 2009-2010 season. Prior to his year at LIU, Callan served as the women’s basketball director of scouting and video operations at Georgia Tech from 2022-2025. He was appointed to the role of assistant coach/director of scouting and video operations in the summer of 2024 and served in those roles until April 2025. With over eight years of experience in video production, Callan spent last year as the girls’ varsity head basketball coach at United Nations International School. Prior to his head coaching role, he was the digital media specialist at Democracy Prep Public Schools, producing, shooting and editing all promotional videos and photography for the charter school network. During the summers since 2002, Callan served as a video coordinator and support staff member for USA Basketball. With the national organization, Callan assisted with daily operational needs and game film. Callan began his career in video production as the video coordinator at the University of Colorado from 2007-11. Callan earned a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Colorado.
