Bryan Weber

Head Coach

Bryan Weber, associate head coach at St. John’s University, was named head women’s volleyball coach at Fordham University in February of 2026. Weber had been a member of the St. John’s staff since joining the Red Storm as an assistant coach in 2014 and then being promoted to Associate Head Coach during the 2021 season.   In 2024, Weber assisted the Johnnies to yet another 20-win season. With another BIG EAST Tournament under his belt, Weber saw the program to its fourth NIVC Tournament making it as far as the semi-final round, before falling to Bowling Green.    In 2023, he helped coach the Johnnies to their second consecutive and 13th 20-win season in program history. The Johnnies battled their way through the BIG EAST Tournament, making the third all-time appearance in the conference title game. In the semifinal round, the Red Storm took down Marquette on their home court, 3-2. At the conclusion of the season, Weber along with the St. John’s coaching staff was named the 2023 BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year. The program also made its third appearance in the NIVC Tournament in school history.    In 2022, Weber and the Johnnies battled their way to the 12th 20-win season in program history, en route to the Red Storm's second NIVC Tournament appearance.  The 2022 squad finished with a 20-14 record which brought the team to the BIG EAST Tournament. St. John's took down Binghamton University in the first round of the NIVC to secure the program's first tournament victory.   During the spring of 2020, Weber was named to the AVCA Thirty Under Thirty List, typically reserved for the top up-and-coming coaches in the country.   In 2019, the Red Storm racked up four wins over AVCA Top-100 teams. St. John's went on to capture the 2019 BIG EAST Tournament Championship, earning an automatic bid to the program's third-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.   In his time at St. John’s Weber coached three AVCA All-American Honorable Mention Selections, seven AVCA First Team All-East Coast Region Selections, one AVCA East Coast Region Freshman of the Year (2018), Four AVCA All-East Coast Region Honorable Mention Selections, 16 All-BIG EAST First Team selections, two All-BIG EAST Second Team selections, two BIG EAST Freshman of the Year (2016 & 2018), one BIG EAST Libero of the Year (2018), one BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player (2019), five BIG EAST All-Tournament Selections, one ECAC Offensive Player of the Year (2017), one ECAC First Team selection (2017), and one BIG EAST Institutional Female Scholar-Athlete Award winner (2014-15).   In 2018, Weber and the St. John's volleyball coaching staff were named the BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Red Storm to a 23-12 overall record and a BIG EAST Tournament appearance. St. John's closed out the 2018 season by making its first-ever appearance in the NIVC Tournament.   Weber arrived at St. John’s after serving as an assistant coach at SUNY New Paltz where he helped the team lead NCAA Division III in three statistical categories, assists per set (12.3), kills per set (13.3) and winning percentage (.875). He assisted in developing the AVCA Newcomer of the Year in 2014 and has coached two AVCA All-American First Team Selections. Weber was a part of the United Volleyball Conference Championship team in 2014 and helped guide the program to its first NCAA Tournament and Final Four appearance. SUNY New Paltz closed out the season as the No. 3 team in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division III Men's Coaches Top-15 Poll.   A graduate of SUNY New Paltz where he earned a bachelor of science in marketing, Weber also earned a master's degree in sport management from St. John's University.

Alyssa Kaufman

Associate Head Coach

Alyssa Kaufman is entering her third season as an assistant coach with Fordham University Volleyball. Prior to starting with Fordham in the summer of 2019 she was the head coach at The College of New Rochelle for five season. While at the helm of New Rochelle's women's volleyball program, the program for the NCAA National Women's Volleyball Championships for the first time in program history during the 2016 season and repeated in the 2018 season. In the 2016 Season Alyssa was recognized the Association of Division III Independent Coach of the Year. In the 2015 season, the Blue Angels qualified for the post-season ECAC Metro Tournament for the second time in program history. Kaufman also guided the team to five consecutive Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles. Prior to CNR, Kaufman led the women's volleyball program at neighboring College of Mount Saint Vincent where in one season she compiled a 14-16 overall record and a 6-3 mark in the Skyline Conference, putting the Dolphins into the Skyline Playoffs as the 5th seed.   Kaufman rounded out a stellar playing career at Montreat (N.C.) in 2012, serving as a team captain in each of her four seasons with the Cavaliers. A hands on player with the NAIA program, Kaufman helped with the recruiting process by watching film and contacting players and also helped the coaching staff with strategy.The Kaukauna, Wisconsin native finished off her playing career with 1,312 kills and 1,800 digs for the Cavaliers. In addition she posted 118 service aces and 121 total blocks in her four seasons at Montreat. She was named to the All-Freshman Team as a rookie and was an All-Conference selection her remaining three seasons.Kaufman also garnered recognition for her work in the classroom at Montreat, earning All-Academic accolades three times and being named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete following the 2012 season. A standout in the classroom, Kaufman was named to the Dean's List at Montreat three semesters and was named to the Distinguished Scholars List on two occasions.

Bria Plante

Assistant Coach

Bria Plante, who served as an assistant volleyball coach at Moravian University in 2025, was named assistant volleyball coach at Fordham in April of 2026.   At Moravian, Plante assisted the head coach in player development, running drills, coaching all aspects of the game with emphasis on serve receive, hitting, blocking and front row plays. She coached in-game situations with focus on front row offense and defense and built scouting reports prior to games and led the team through film breakdowns prior to games alongside watching individual film with players. The Greyhounds finished with a .500 record (14-14) with Moravian making the Landmark Conference tournament for the first time in eight years. Plante coached two All-Conference Players with Middle Blocker Payton Reuber earning second team honors and Libero Sam Love honorable mention honors.   Prior to Moravian, served as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater, Long Island University, where she assisted the coaching staff with leading drills and conditioning during spring practices.   From 2017-2025, Plante was a coach for A5 Volleyball in Alpharetta, Georgia. As the Volley Performance Coach she was integral in leading individual and small group programming which focused on teaching technique, skills, and endurance. She worked as an assistant coach with the 16-1 Boys and 14-1 Boys in 2022, playing a national schedule and qualifying for USAV Nationals.   A cum laude graduate of McNeese State where she earned a degree in Sports Medicine, Plante earned a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from LIU in 2025. She was a member of the McNeese State volleyball program, helping the Cowgirls to the 2021 Southland Conference championship game. Plante played two years at LIU (2023-24), serving as a 2024 team captain, helping the Sharks to the 2023 Northeast Conference title and a berth in the NCAA Championship.

Keydrick Segur

Assistant Coach

Keydrick Segur was named assistant women’s volleyball coach at Fordham in May of 2026.   Segur arrived at Fordham after serving as an assistant coach at Rider University from 2021-2026 where he was named one of 23 coaches named to the Advancing Beyond in Sports (ABIS) list of coaches to watch for women's volleyball in 2026.   In 2025, Rider advanced to the MAAC Championship match in 2025 after compiling a 12-6 conference record. The Broncs were led by Kiannisha Santiago who garnered AVCA All-America Honorable Mention. Rider reached the MAAC Semifinals for the fifth-consecutive season in 2024, topping Merrimack in the MAAC Quarterfinals. Kiannisha Santiago earned her second All-MAAC honor, being named to the All-MAAC First-Team before earning MAAC All-Tournament Team honors in the postseason. Molly Rohde and Paige Giehtbrock both earned Second-Team All-MAAC honors.  The Broncs once again reached the MAAC Tournament in 2023, defeating Niagara in the first round of the Tournament to advance to the MAAC semifinals for the fourth-straight season. Kiannisha Santiago was awarded Second-Team All-MAAC honors with Molly Rohde and Paige Geihtbrock earning MAAC All-Rookie Team honors. Segur also has been involved with USA Volleyball High Performance as an assistant coach for the youth team that competed in the 2022 USA All-Star Championship. He also served as a camp coach, tryout evaluator, and court coach. While at Rider, Segur was a recipient of the 2022 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Diversity Award. Within this award, he participated in a sequence of educational seminars that focused on professional and personal development for coaches. He was the only recipient of the award in the MAAC and one of 18 sponsored award recipients nationally. Prior to Rider, Segur served as the Head Coach for the International Volleyball Club 15-1’s team from 2018-2020. He also served as the Head Coach for the Princeton Volleyball Club 18-1 and 12-1 from 2021-2022.
