Guffey enters his 10th season as head coach of the Tiger women's golf program in 2014-15. Guffey is also the golf pro at the Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course in Hays, Kan. Guffey guided the women's program to its first-ever MIAA Championship in 2012. Guffey attended Fort Hays State University from 1969 to 1973. He and his wife, Deborah, reside in Hays. They have three children--Amy, Matt and Nathan.
