In his eight seasons at the helm, Suhovy has produced four All-Americans on the womens side and seven on the mens. In 2015 on the mens side, the Sunbirds had a breakout season and received votes in the national poll for the first time in program history. Suhovy placed a school record four student-athletes on the ACWPC All-American Team in Daniel Seymour, Zlatko Vlasic, Dillon Robinson and David Maes. FPU also received a program-record 10 honorees on the WWPA All-Academic Team. The Sunbirds went 10-13 overall and defeated a pair of Division I teams in Loyola Marymount and Air Force in WWPA play. Suhovy placed two Sunbirds on the ACWPC womens All-American team in 2015, as Kelsie Harvey and Mallory Rettig received the distinction. Harvey graduated as the schools all-time leader in saves (1,128) and steals (176). Seven Sunbirds also received GCC All-Academic honors following the season. The mens program had a successful 2014 campaign that saw Seymour earn All-American honors for the second time and three players earn All-WWPA for the first time in school history. The honorees were Seymour, Robinson and Ian Roos. Suhovy also earned his first conference victory against California Baptist on Oct. 23, as the Sunbirds were competing in their first year in the WWPA. Seven players were also named to the WWPA All-Academic Team in 2014. Suhovy guided the womens program into the GCC in 2014 to compete against several Division I teams throughout the year. Nia Apodaca and Kaitlin Fletcher earned All-GCC honors that season, while Harvey was named an All-American for the second consecutive season. On the mens side in 2013, Seymour received his first All-American distinction as a sophomore and the second student-athlete to earn the honor in program history. Suhovy produced the womens programs first-ever All-Americans in 2013, as Dani Mortimer and Harvey received the distinction. In 2012, FPU made program history under Suhovy as the Sunbirds received their first-ever All-American. Glenn Lyon, the mens program all-time leading scorer, earned the honor.
