Moore as he hosted Gallaudet's first official home track and field meet since 1992. Gallaudet's men's team finished second overall and the women placed third at the Gallaudet University Invitational. Moore is no stranger to Gallaudet as he has served as an assistant coach to the mens and womens track and field program for five years (2010-14) and was an assistant on the 2009 football team. The LaPlata, Md., native earned his degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University in 2005. While at Salisbury, Moore was a member of the football (1999-2001) and track and field teams (2000). Prior to joining Gallaudet he coached varsity and junior varsity football at McDonough and LaPlata High Schools in Southern Maryland. He served in a variety of positions from head coach, defensive coordinator, offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator over the years. I have the experience to match the drive and motivation that I have always possessed to take teams to the next level, said Moore. Right now, I am on a mission to improve the academic and athletic success of everyone that I have the opportunity to coach. Moore and his wife, Nicole, have two sons (Marcus and Lance) and reside in Indian Head, Md.
