Gardner-Webb University Women's Lacrosse

Krick was named head coach at Gardner-Webb on June 19, 2015, continuing the process of building a new program after serving as an assistant coach during the program's inaugural season. Jillian was impressive during the interview process, said Vice President for Athletics Chuck Burch. Her familiarity with the program, our university and its commitment to Christian higher education will be advantageous as she continues to build a lacrosse tradition here. I am confident what she lacks in experience will be compensated for by her enthusiasm, willingness to learn and high level of energy. Krick joined the Gardner-Webb coaching staff after her playing career at Liberty University. She played in 57 games for the Flames and made 47 starts.  Kricks leadership ability was on display as a student-athlete, as she was named a team captain during her senior season. She was also active in the community during her time in Lynchburg, Va., helping coach the JAB Lacrosse club for girls age 13-18  as well as helping mentor children in area elementary schools. I am honored with the opportunity to serve as head coach of this program as we look to continue moving toward our goal of competing for Big South Conference championships, said Krick. It is an exciting challenge that I look forward to attacking with the young women in our program now and in the future. Krick, a native of Harrisburg, Pa., earned a degree in family and child development (psychology minor) from Liberty University in May, 2013. She graduated with a Masters degree in human services/criminal justice from Liberty in 2014.
