Crowder comes to GW after serving as an assistant coach at Carolina Diving Academy in Huntersville, North Carolina where he helped design skill development for approximately 100 divers, ranging in ability level from beginning to elite, including Olympic Trial qualifiers, while he helped train high school divers to prepare for regional and state championships. Coach Crowder oversaw two individual AAU National Champions and three top-five AAU National Championship finishers. The 2012 program took home the AAU National Championship team title while the 2013 squad finished fourth. Throughout his six-year tenure at the Carolina Diving Academy, Coach Crowder helped his men's and women's teams combine to claim three USA Diving Junior Region 3 Championship crowns and eight top-five finishes. The squad also took home first overall at the 2014 American Invitational Diving Championships with first-place finishes on both the men's and women's sides. From 2011-13, Coach Crowder served as the head diving coach at Wingate University where he produced NCAA Division II National Championships zone qualifiers and 2012 one-meter National Champion and All-American Lindsey Taylor. He also spent one season as the head diving coach at Urbana High School in 2007-08, where he developed skills and prepared divers for regional and sectional meets while also managing strength and conditioning workouts. A USA Diving Senior and Masters level competitive diver, Coach Crowder was a 2005 All-American and Illinois High School State Championship runner-up. He owns a USA Diving Coaching Certification, and recently graduated from Charlotte in the spring of 2014 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a double concentration in management and marketing. The former swimming student-athlete at Louisville also worked at the University of New Orleans in a career that has seen him coach more than 40 All-Americans, nine National Champions, and five Top 100 world-ranked athletes, and secure two Top 25 nationally-ranked recruiting classes. Jonsson comes to George Washington from Old Dominion University, where he graduated with a degree in communication in May of 2012. Jonsson earned four letters at Old Dominion in swimming and diving from 2008 to 2012. Out of the pool, Jonsson was a member of Tau Sigma, a national honors society for transfer students, and was named to the Old Dominion University Dean's List for his academic success in the fall of 2011 and spring of 2012. Jonsson resides in Bethesda, Md. Stefl's guidance. While at YSU, Stefl also served as an instructor in the university's exercise science department and organized the Penguins' fall and spring clinics. Prior to her stint at YSU, Stefl spent two years as a graduate assistant coach for Springfield College, where she helped train one Division III national champion, six All-Americans and three relay Honorable Mention All-Americans, and the women's squad placed 14th at the NCAA Division III Championships in 2012 and 2013. Stefl also coached as an assistant at Union College from 2010-11, helping the program earn 2010 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year while coaching a team of women's 200 free relay NCAA Honorable Mention All-Americans. A 2009 graduate of Kalamazoo College, Stefl was a four-year standout student-athlete for the Hornets, earning the Senior Female Athlete and Knoechel Family Awards in 2009. The political science and religion major was a career All-MIAA Academic Team member, garnered Academic All-America honors three times (2007-09) and earned NCAA Division III All-America accolades in 2007 and NCAA Division III All-America Honorable Mention recognition in 2008 and 2009. A two-year team captain, Stefl graduated with four program records and two MIAA League records.
