Matt Fallon

Assistant Coach

Matt Fallon is in his third season as the assistant director of men’s basketball operations as part of Head Coach Ed Cooley’s staff.   Fallon spent the 2022-23 season as a graduate assistant with the Providence College men’s basketball program and was part of a staff that reached the NCAA Tournament in 2023. Prior to his stint as a GA, Fallon was an undergraduate manager with the Friars for the four previous seasons and was the head manager during the 2021-22 season that saw PC win the BIG EAST regular season title and reach the NCAA Sweet 16.   In his role as head manager and then as a graduate assistant, Fallon developed scouting reports, coded film, was responsible for equipment management, assisted with daily operations and logistics, oversaw the student managers and assisted with recruiting visit coordination.   Fallon earned a Bachelor of Science in finance in 2022 and earned his Master of Business Administration with an additional certificate in sports management in 2023, both from Providence College. A native of Duxbury, Massachusetts, Fallon graduated from Duxbury High School.

Jason Williford

Assistant Coach

Jason Williford is in his first season with the Georgetown men’s basketball team and his 26th season as a collegiate basketball coach after serving the previous 16 seasons at his alma mater, the University of Virginia.   In his 16 seasons in Charlottesville, Williford helped the Cavaliers capture one NCAA championship, six ACC regular season championships, two ACC Tournament titles, 10 NCAA Tournament appearances and two NIT berths. UVA won 30 or more games four times and in 2018, reached No. 1 in the AP rankings for the first time since 1982 during this tenure.   A former Virginia player, Williford was an assistant coach at American University for four years before heading back to his alma mater and prior to that was an assistant coach at Boston University for five years. American won the Patriot League Championship and participated in the NCAA Tournament in each of his last two seasons with the program. During Williford’s final four years at Boston University, the Terriers earned an NCAA Tournament berth in 2002 and then participated in the National Invitation Tournament for three-consecutive years.   A native of Richmond, Virginia, Williford is a 1995 graduate of Virginia. During his four years as a member of the UVA men’s basketball team, the Cavaliers won the NIT in 1992 and participated in the NCAA Tournament three times. Virginia reached the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 in 1993, the second round in 1994 and the Elite Eight in 1995 when he was a team captain.   After graduation, Williford played four years in the Icelandic Professional League and the Korean Basketball League. In 1995-96, he was named the Foreign MVP for the Haukar Club Team in the Icelandic Professional League. He also began his coaching career that season by heading up the Under-20 Haukar Club Team. From 1996-99, Williford played for two teams in the Korean Basketball League and earned All-Star honors.   Williford was an assistant coach with the boys’ varsity basketball team at his alma mater, John Marshall High School, in 1999-2000. Hardy replaced Mike Brennan, who was named Head Coach at American University. "We are excited to welcome Tavaras to Georgetown," Thompson said. "He brings a wealth of experience to the Hilltop. His strengths are not limited, he is a veteran recruiter, he is a tireless worker and he can teach the game." Hardy came to the Hilltop after seven seasons on the staff at Northwestern, where he helped lead the Wildcats to four consecutive postseason appearances (2009-12) and to consecutive school record 20-win seasons in 2009-10 and again in 2010-11. He served as the team's associate head coach the last two years. Recognized as an outstanding recruiter, Hardy helped mentor John Shurna during his record-breaking career as he became a first-team All-Big Ten selection, the conference's leading scorer and Northwestern career leader in scoring. In addition, Drew Crawford was named the 2010 Big Ten Freshman of the Year by the league's media members. Prior to NU, Hardy spent three years as a head coach for the Illinois Defenders boys' basketball program. Among their many accomplishments, his under-16 team captured the championship of the 2005 Las Vegas Main Event tournament with a perfect 7-0 record. During that same time period, Hardy also worked in wealth management at JPMorgan Chase and Co. Hardy was a four-year letterwinner and three-time most valuable player at Northwestern from 1998-2002. He earned All-Big 10 honors twice, ranks second in games played and is among the top 20 in seven major categories at the school. Hardy graduated from Northwestern in 2002, earning his bachelor of arts degree in political science. Hardy and his wife Billée are the proud parents of Mariah (6) and Jasmine (1). Walt Corbean

Assistant Coach

Walt Corbean serves as the director of operations and assistant coach as part of Head Coach Ed Cooley’s inaugural staff and is in his third season. A former Wake Forest assistant and Xavier alum with two NCAA appearances as a player, Corbean began his tenure on the Hilltop following nine seasons as an assistant coach at Boston University.   Corbean was part of Cooley’s staff that doubled the win total from the year before, closing the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 18-16 and a postseason appearance in the inaugural College Basketball Crown held in Las Vegas. Following the year, the duo of Thomas Sorber and Micah Peavy were both selected in the 2025 NBA Draft with Sorber going in the first round with the 15th pick to the reigning NBA Champions Oklahoma City Thunder. Peavy was selected in the second round, 40th overall, by the Washington Wizards before his rights were traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. It was the first time since 2008 the Hoyas had a pair of draft picks and the two draft picks marked the first two NBA Draft selections of Cooley’s tenure on the HIlltop.   In two seasons, Corbean has worked with and coached a pair of athletes who went on to earn All-BIG EAST honors with Peavy earning a nod to the first team (2025) and Sorber earning a spot on the third team (2025). Sorber was also a unanimous selection to the All-Freshman Team. During his time with the Terriers, he helped Head Coach Joe Jones guide BU to the program's first Patriot League tournament title in 2020, two second-place finishes in the PL regular season standings (2017, 2020), four PL semifinal appearances (2017, 2018, 2020, 2022) and a pair of postseason berths (2022 College Basketball Invitational and 2016 CollegeInsider.com Tournament).   Corbean worked on the Wake Forest staff from 2007-13, including the last two as an assistant coach. He joined the Demon Deacons as the director of basketball operations after serving as the head basketball coach at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana. In seven seasons, Corbean led the Grenadiers to a 140-95 record and three National Association of Intercollegiate Athletic (NAIA) National Tournament appearances.   He also captured four Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships. His most successful season came in 2005-06, when Indiana University Southeast finished ninth in the nation in the final NAIA Division II poll with a record of 30-4.   Corbean began his coaching career at his high school alma mater, The Seven Hills School, in Cincinnati. He was an assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach for four seasons before earning his degree in psychology from Xavier in 1991.   The former Musketeer then broke into the collegiate coaching ranks as an assistant coach at Northern Kentucky University. He spent four seasons as an assistant at NKU, the last two of which he also served as academic coordinator. Corbean was instrumental in helping the Norsemen reach the Sweet 16 of the 1995 NCAA Division II Tournament.   Making his return to the Patriot League at BU, he joined the staff at Army in 1995 and spent three years with the Black Knights, including one season as the recruiting coordinator. Corbean then became an assistant coach at Eastern Kentucky for two seasons from 1998-2000 before taking the head job at IUS.   As a Musketeer from 1985-87, Corbean helped Xavier to a pair of Midwestern Collegiate Conference championships and a two-year record of 44-18. After earning his bachelor's from Xavier, Corbean received his master's degree in secondary education from Northern Kentucky in 1997.   Corbean and his wife, Kathy, are the parents of a son, Trey. LaDontae Henton

LaDontae Henton serves as the director of player development and assistant coach in his third season as part of Head Coach Ed Cooley’s staff. Henton spent the previous two seasons as a member of Cooley's staff at Providence and was promoted to the associate director of player development, scouting and recruiting coordination position before his second season.   Henton was part of Cooley’s staff that doubled the win total from the year before, closing the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 18-16 and a postseason appearance in the inaugural College Basketball Crown held in Las Vegas. His time with the Friars was his second stint in Providence as the former Friar played for the team from 2011-2015 while getting his degree in social science.   In two seasons as a member of Cooley’s staff, Henton helped the Friars to back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances and Providence won the BIG EAST Regular Season Title for the first time ever.    The Friars defeated South Dakota State (66-57) in the First Round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament and Richmond (79-51) in the Second Round to advance to the Sweet 16. The Friars made their first appearance in the Sweet 16 since 1997 and their sixth appearance overall.   The team was defeated by eventual national champion Kansas, 66-61, in the Midwest Regional.   Henton led the Friars to three postseason berths (one NIT, two NCAAs) and one BIG EAST title (2014) in his four seasons as a student-athlete at Providence. Henton became the second Friar ever to score more than 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds in his career. He ranks second all-time in scoring (2,059 points) and fifth all time in rebounding (1,054 rebounds). As a senior, he was named Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America, First Team ALL-BIG EAST, United States Basketball Writers Association District 1 Player of the Year and USBWA All-District 1 Team.   After graduating from Providence, Henton spent six years playing professional basketball.  He began his pro career in Spain, but he also has played in the Philippines, Hungary, Israel and had several stints in the G League.  In 2020-21, he played for the Hsinchu Lioneers of the P League in Taiwan during his final professional season.    Henton lives in Northern Virginia with his daughter, Aleena, and her mother, Karina Garcia. Kenneth White

Coach

Kenneth White enters his third season as the strength and conditioning coach as part of Head Coach Ed Cooley’s staff. White arrived on the Hilltop after spending the previous 20 years at Providence College as a strength and conditioning coach.   In two seasons, White has worked with a pair of athletes who went on to earn All-BIG EAST honors with Peavy earning a nod to the first team (2025) and Sorber earning a spot on the third team (2025). Sorber was also a unanimous selection to the All-Freshman Team.   At Providence, White was responsible for all the strength and conditioning requirements for the College’s 19 varsity athletic teams. In addition to overseeing and working with all 19 teams, he worked directly with the men’s basketball team’s strength and conditioning programs.   Prior to PC, White was the head strength and conditioning coach at Stony Brook University. In 1997, he was hired as the first strength and conditioning coach ever at St. Bonaventure University, a position he held until leaving for Stony Brook in 1999. White began his career in strength and conditioning in 1995 as a graduate assistant at Columbia University.   A 1992 graduate of the University of Vermont, White was a four-year letterman in basketball at the University of Vermont and was co-captain of the squad his senior year. He led the North Atlantic Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio for three years. For his efforts on the court, White was elected to the Catamount Hall of Fame on October 4, 2002. White received his master’s degree from Columbia University in 1999.   White is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He also has a Club Coach/Olympic Weightlifting Certification from USA Weightlifting.

Greg Collucci

Coach

Greg Collucci enters his first season in the role of General Manager on Head Coach Ed Cooley’s staff. Collucci has spent a career in basketball following a four-year playing career at George Washington University.   Collucci arrives on the Hilltop following a nine-year stint with the NBA, most recently as the NBA’s elite basketball and player development pathways lead. His work was focused on the NBA Academy, a year-round elite basketball development initiative that provides top high school-age prospects from outside the United States with a holistic approach to player development and a predictable pathway to maximize their potential. The NBA Academy program has had locations across Australia, China, India, Mexico and Senegal for top prospects from their respective countries and continents.   Collucci’s work supporting the NBA’s global development started in 2016 and developed into what is now known as the NBA Academy and its own flagship NCAA recruiting event called the NBA Academy Games. In addition, he helped the academy student-athletes gain additional exposure at events such as the National Prep School Invitational and the Tarkanian Classic. He was involved in the first days of the NBA Academy and saw it expand across the globe.   Collucci landed in his role with the NBA following a career on the sidelines, most recently spending two seasons (2014-16) at Central Connecticut State as an assistant coach.   Prior to his time in New Britain, he spent a year on the staff at American University. AU won the Patriot League Tournament Championship in 2014 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. They finished the season with a 20-13 overall record including a win over Boston University in the tournament championship.    Prior to his stint at American, Collucci spent five seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, George Washington. He spent 11 total seasons at George Washington, including four as a player and two additional years on staff prior to becoming an assistant coach.   At GW, Collucci was promoted to assistant coach prior to the 2006-07 season and helped George Washington to its second Atlantic 10 tournament title in three years. This marked GW’s third-straight appearance in the NCAA tournament.   GW made the NCAA Tournament in 2005, 2006 and 2007 while Collucci was on staff, achieving its highest national ranking in more than 50 years during the 2006 season. In addition, GW captured back-to-back Atlantic 10 conference titles during Collucci's first two seasons on staff.   Collucci is a 2004 graduate of GW with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. He is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida.  He averaged 5.5 points (623 career points) including 160 career three-pointers as a player at GW.   Collucci and his wife, Amy, have two children.
