Gettysburg College Men's Track

Shenk enters his seventh season as the head men's and women's cross country and track and field head coach in 2016-17. After serving on an interim basis in 2010-11, he was promoted to full-time status in June 2011.

Hartzler enters his second season as an assistant mens and womens cross country and track and field coach at Gettysburg College in 2016-17. During the fall, Hartzler helped coach Gettysburgs first All-Centennial Conference mens cross country runner in a decade. He upped the ante during the indoor track and field campaign, coaching both the conference gold and silver medalists in the mens long jump as well as the womens winners in the long jump, triple jump, and 60-meter hurdles. Two women went on to compete at nationals with Katie Cavanaugh 16 earning All-America status in the hurdles. During the outdoor season, Hartzler coach four conference champions and three national qualifiers. Cavanaugh claimed another national certificate in the hurdles, while Andre Hinds 16 earned national status in the discus.
