Prince Odia

Head Coach

Odia began to play professionally for the Julius Berger football club also known as the Adewale Bridge Boys, which is a Division I team.  In addition to the Adewale Bridge Boys, he also played with two South American Clubs: Sport Boys and Deportivo Municipal. He also has had trials in both Argentina, Chile and Brazil. He has since obtained his coaching license from the United States Soccer Association. In addition to his work on the sideline, Coach Prince has also practice what he has preached and delivered a postive message in the class room. Coach Prince Odia possesses his degree in specialized areas such as sports science management as well as business administration management. He holds a master degree in Sports Science from The Ohio University, He has instilled his vaule of education on each of the hundreds of players he has coached. Coach Prince also served as a scouting agent for NCAA colleges, was a personal trainer for professional players, and became a representative for Ex-Nigerian internationals and 1994 & 1998 senior world cup team members, Emeka-Ezugo and Chris Nwosu in South America. Prior to coaching at Globe Institute of Technology, Coach Prince Harold Odia has coached the Brooklyn Knights in Queens, the Sierra Big Apple football club, and also the Chelsea Bronx football club. Through his unique coaching style, Coach Prince Odia aims to refine the skills of players and develop in them the confidence and discipline needed to mold students into professional athletes. He provides challenging and fun learning enviornment, his goal is to foster achivement, as well as to inspire enjoyment and passion for playing soccer.  Engaging in the sport of soccer at an early age, Coach Prince Harold Odia has a strong passion for the sport.  Harold first picked up a soccer at the age of 6 and only a mere four years later he was playing for the famous lagos country club, a youth foundation. Shawn Cousins

Assistant Coach

Cousins began his athletic career at Calabar High School. He represented Jamaica at the CARIFTA Games and Junior Pan-American Games as a pole vaulter. As a student at City Technical College in Brooklyn, Shawn was a member of their Mens College Soccer Champion, CUNY Mens Volleyball championships, where he came in third, and at CUNY Indoor track and field championships.  Here, he received medals in four events which include long jump, high jump, shotput, and 55m hurdles.           Coach Shawn Cousins is currently a member of the Semi-Pro National Premier Soccer Team, Pocono Snows, where he plays the position of centerback or forward.  He aims to bring a strong foundation to the players by focusing on the fundamentals of their sport.  Coach Cousins is extremely goal oriented and results driven and uses this technique to take the athletes to an advanced level.
