Dave Murray
Head Coach
Dave Murray joined Hamilton College as the Mary Jayne Comey and Mac Bristol '43 Head Football Coach in May 2014. He coached three all-NESCAC team selections, including one first team pick on special teams, in 2022. Seventeen student-athletes earned 2022 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team honors. Murray's head coaching career spans 32 seasons at four different schools. After the 2019 season, he was 12th among active NCAA Division III coaches in career wins and tied for 49th all-time in Division III history. Matt Wright
Assistant Coach
Wright is in his ninth year as an assistant football coach at Hamilton College. Wright coaches the offensive line and serves as the program's recruiting coordinator. In 2015 one of his linemen was a NESCAC all-conference team selection, and another made the NESCAC all-conference and D3football.com all-region teams in 2014. Wright was an assistant at Plattsburgh High School in New York from 2005 to 2007. He was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Plattsburgh's varsity program in 2007 and was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the junior varsity the previous year. Wright played for Ithaca College for two years after he graduated from Plattsburgh in 2001. He has a bachelor's degree in clinical exercise science.

Jeff Friedman
Assistant Coach
Friedman is in his seventh year as an assistant football coach at Hamilton College after a four-year playing career with the Continentals. Friedman coaches the running backs. One of his backs made the NESCAC all-conference and D3football.com all-region teams in 2015. Friedman was an assistant at Tenafly High School in New Jersey in 2009. He worked with the offensive and defensive lines and special teams. He helped guide Tenafly's varsity program to a 9-1 record and he was head coach of the junior varsity. Friedman was a three-year varsity letter winner at defensive tackle and started his senior year in 2004. At Tenafly he was an all-league selection at defensive tackle and a two-year starter on offense and defense. Friedman graduated with a degree in biology and a minor in history. He earned a law degree from American University in Washington, D.C., in 2008. Friedman lives in Clinton with his wife Kalley (Greer '07), 3-year-old son Caillum and 6-month-old son Nathaniel.

Randi Moore
Assistant Coach
Randi Moore joined the Hamilton College coaching staff as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach in June 2023. Most recently, Moore had been the special teams coordinator, linebackers coach and strength and conditioning coordinator at the University of Rochester since 2018. Moore served as the defensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and linebackers coach at Division II Lock Haven University from 2014 through the 2017 season. He was also the defensive backs coach in 2015. In 2013 he was a defensive backs coach and special teams assistant coach at Allegheny College. Moore started his collegiate coaching career at his alma mater Long Island University Post. He assisted in coaching the secondary from 2007 to 2010, and he coached the linebackers from 2010 through the 2012 season. He helped guide LIU Post to a 7-4 overall record, including 6-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in 2011. In 2010 the team went 7-4 overall and 5-2 in the PSAC. Moore coached at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, N.Y., from 2003 to 2007. He was the varsity team's defensive coordinator and he was the junior varsity head coach in 2006. Moore has been a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the American Football Coaches Association since 2015. He participated in the NCAA Football Coaches Academy in 2011. As a member of the LIU Post football team, Moore was a three-year starter at strong safety. The team boasted a record of 39-6 and played in three conference championship games during his career. He helped the team win the 2001 Northeast-10 Conference title game, and in 2002 they went 11-0 during the regular season and were an NCAA Division II championship selection.
