Brent Gibson
Head Coach
Brent Gibson brings a wealth of experience to the coaching staff. With a strong background in both education and basketball, he has a proven track record of developing student-athletes on and off the court. Gibson holds master's degrees in education from Murray State University and the University of the Cumberlands. He has held various coaching positions at both the high school and collegiate levels, including head coaching roles at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School (KY) Deer High School (AR) and Palm Beach Atlantic University (FL). While at Deer High School, he was named 1A West Coach of the Year and was twice named 2nd Region Coach of the Year at Madisonville North Hopkins.. His experience as an assistant coach at James B. Castle High School (HI) and Madisonville-North Hopkins further solidified his expertise in the game. Beyond his coaching career, Gibson has excelled in educational leadership roles, serving as an assistant principal and athletic director. His commitment to academic success and personal growth aligns seamlessly with the program's values

Callie Jackson
Associate Head Coach
Callie Jackson completed her first season at Hawaii Pacific in 2025-26. She helped the team secure their most wins on the road since 2022-23 and improved the team’s conference win total by three games in 2025-26 while serving as the Associate Head Coach. Jackson came to Hawaii Pacific after a successful career at NAIA Georgetown (KY) under head coach Jeff Nickel, one of the winningest active coaches in all of NAIA. Her 88 wins as a Georgetown player over her final four seasons in orange and black were the most by a graduating class since the 2007-08 season. Jackson played in 128 career games at Georgetown with 48 starts. She averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. As a senior, she averaged 5.2 rebounds per contest. During her final two seasons at Georgetown, the team beat nine teams ranked in the top 25 nationally and the team posted two NAIA postseason wins for just the third time in school history during the 2024-25 season. Jackson earned a Bachelor's Degree from Georgetown College in 2025 in Health Sciences and Communication. Prior to her time at Georgetown, she attended Graves County (KY) High School, averaging a team high 15.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Jackson's Graves County team went 26-9 during her senior season with a 12-4 mark in region games and a 5-0 mark in district games. She led her team to the 3rd District Championship and later to the KHSAA First Region Championship game, scoring 21 points to lead her team in the overtime affair. During the season, the team posted a 14-game winning streak. She shot 79.6% from the free throw line as a senior, finishing among the top 35 among individuals in the state that season
