Career & Collegiate Synopsis 2025-26 marks the seventh season for Lorann at the helm of the Heidelberg Women’s Golf program and her eighth season as part of the coaching staff.  In addition to her position in athletics, Lorann works in the Student Affairs Office and closely with Heidelberg’s International Student population.   2024-25 Placed second at the OAC Spring Preview, and fourth overall at the OAC Championships Coached Brooke Barnes to an individual championship at the OAC Spring Preview Two players recorded a hole-in-one during this season (McKhala Eckert, Lydia Dietz) Set new program record for a single round, with a 326 Coached team to new school best two-round score, (326-329--655) Coached Lydia Dietz and Danielle Powell to All-OAC honors, the first time two teammates have landed on the all conference team in program history 2023-24 Led the team to a third place finish at the OAC Fall Preview, and a fifth place finish at the OAC Championship Coached Lydia Dietz to All-OAC Honors, finishing sixth overall  Mentored two Academic All-OAC honorees Team set new school record, shooting at 338 at the ONU Fall Invitational 2022-23 Lorann's 4th season as Head Coach of the Women's Program Team finished in 4th place at the OAC Championship; 1 behind their 3rd place finish at the OAC Preview Coached on All-OAC Conference Selection (Powell - 13th) and two Academic All-Conference athletes (Shoffner, Haneberg) Team improved in categories of FW Hit, GIR, 1 putts, pars earned, birdies earned, average putts, and scoring average over last year Individually, team earned 1 Top 5 finish, 7 - Top 10 finishes, 5 - Top 15 finishes, and 5 Top 20 finishes Recorded 7 personal collegiate best performances during the 22-23 season Team Scoring Average improved by over 16 shots in 22-23 season Runner Up finish at Defiance Invite was top team finish of the year Team recorded a total of 7 - Top 5 finishes on the year 2021-22 Led the women's team to a sixth-place finish at the OAC Championships  2020-21 Guided the women's golf team through the choppy waters of the COVID-19 season 2019-20 Led the women's team to a sixth-place finish at the OAC Fall Preview Spring season halted by COVID-19 2018-19 Assisted in the men finishing fifth and the women placing sixth at the OAC Championships Mentored Andrew Sikorski (t-6th) and Autumn Simpson (runner-up) to All-OAC honors Guided five golfers to Academic All-OAC honors 2017-18 Helped the men's team to a third place finish and the women's team to a seventh place finish at the OAC Championships Mentored players for All-Academic OAC honors Collegiate Experience 1998 NAIA National Champion in women's golf Four-time NAIA All-American Helped lead the Oilers to a fourth-place team finish at the NAIA Championships in 1998 Lorann (Corliss) was a 4-year letter winner and captain of University of Findlay Oiler Golf Team Earned National Championship Title during 1997-98 season Received All-American Honors all four years while competing for the Oilers Earned Academic All-American Honors during 1996-97 season Helped lead the Oilers to a 4th place team finish at the National Championship in 1998 Still holds the record for most career tournaments won in the history of UF Women's Golf Only golfer in UF WGolf history to record a hole-in-one during tournament play Was the very first female golfer signed to play golf for the University of Findlay in 1994 Studied Business Administration with a focus in HR and Marketing (1994-1998) Lorann (Corliss) was inducted into the University of Findlay Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008, on her first ballot (10 years after graduation).  She is also a member of the Mohawk High School Athletic Hall of Fame and was the very first OHSAA High School Girls Golf Champion in 1993. Lorann (Corliss) was named Player of the Year for the Glass City Golf Tour and LEJGA Player of the Year a record 5 times.  Coach Lorann is currently working on earning her PGA Teaching Credentials from the PGA of America.     Personal Lorann is married and lives in Sycamore, Ohio. All the couple's children (Jeffrey, Crosby, Aaron, and Joshua) are grown and reside outside of the Tiffin area. Her youngest, Joshua, is a recent graduate ('23) from Heidelberg University.
