Hiram College Men's Golf

Schustrich took over the Hiram men's golf program prior to the start of the 2014 spring season will begin his third full season. Schustrich is an accomplished amateur golfer having competed in several local, state and national competitions.  Most recently, he competed in a pair of Ohio amateur events in which he placed ninth in the Ohio Amateur Publinx (2013) and 22nd in the Ohio Amateur (2013).  Schustrich also qualified and played in the 2012 USGA Mid-Amateur Championship.  He is a three-time champion in the Portage County Amateur (1998, 2001, 2004) and finished as runner-up five times.  He also was the 1998 Open Champion and 1999 Club Champion in the InterClub Public Golfers Association.  When he is not on the course, Schustrich is a volunteer assistant boy's golf coach at James A. Garfield High School.
