Scott Frasier
Head Coach
Frasier took over as the head coach of the Hollins golf program in August of 2015. In 2003, Frasier began his work with Roanoke area junior golf as head pro at Hunting Hills Country Club. Under his tutelage, the junior golf team at Hunting Hills won the Roanoke Valley Junior Hall of Fame three different times. After Hunting Hills, Frasier served as the head or assistant professional at Lexington Country Club, Ashley Plantation, and Botetourt Golf and Swim Club. In addition to teaching as a professional at different golf clubs, Frasier has served as a certified First Tee coach since 2010. First Tees mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Frasier has strong ties to Division III golf having played at SUNY Cortland. During his collegiate playing career, Frasier earned the opportunity to compete in the NCAA Division III National Championships. After graduation, Frasier continued to excel on the course and later in his career was able to continue his winning ways. In 2005 Frasier won the Mid-Atlantic PGA Senior Head Pro Championship and one year later added the Virginia State Senior Open Championship to his resume.

Bill Mannino
Assistant Coach
Mannino was named Athletic Director on a permanent basis and gave up the helm of the Hollins golf program. With the hiring of new head coach Scott Frasier, Mannino has moved over to the position of assistant golf coach and recruiting coordinator in addition to his duties as the leader of the Hollins athletic program. Mannino enjoyed a distinguished collegiate golfing career at Temple University. After graduating, he competed as a professional and went on to serve as an assistant golf professional at the Cricket Club of Philadelphia and the Roanoke (Virginia) Country Club. From 2001-2004, he was head golf coach at his alma mater. In 2007 and 2008, Mannino led the Hollins golf team to a tournament victory at the St. Andrews Spring Invitational. Vicky Kasza's 16th place finish at the NCAA Championship, and her earning a spot on the All Eastern Regional Team, also highlighted the 2007-2008 season. He subsequently led the Hollins golf team to victory in the Gettysburg Spring Invitational in 2009-2010. In the fall of 2010, Hollins was ranked 28th in the country after two top-three finishes at Piedmont College and the Naval Academy. This would be the first of three consecutive seasons where the Hollins golf team was included in the GolfStat National Rankings. After a successful 2012-13 season, Mannino once again coached a golfer in the NCAA DIII National Tournament field. After winning the prestigious Jekyll Island Collegiate, Elizabeth Cheng finished in a tie for 12th at the national championships. In addition to leading a pair of golfers to the NCAA National Tournament, Mannino has seen three golfers earn All American Scholar status. The ODAC started sponsoring womens golf in 2012-13 and since then Mannino has helped place three different Hollins golfers on All-ODAC teams. Cheng graduated in 2014 as a two-time All-American, two-time ODAC Women's Golf Scholar Athlete of the Year, and two-time Hollins Sportswoman of the Year.
