Howard Community College Men's Track

Musselman has been fixture in the Athletic & Fitness Center since his initial start date in August 1985. He was involved with the restart of the Athletic programs and has been a vital team player to where they are today. He has worked his way from an entry level staff position to his current position of Assistant Director of Athletics and Facilities. Steve created the running programs at Howard Community College. His experiences as a competitor at the high school and collegiate level were an asset to him getting the programs off the ground. His dedication and efforts helped the running programs to become not only one of the top programs in the Department; but at the Regional and National level as well. In Cross Country; the program has proven itself to be a consistent performer at the Region and National level. Steve had directed the men to 16 regional titles. The team is a consistent top ten placer at Nationals with their best finish to date coming in 3 rd in 2014. The women have 4 regional titles and six finishes in the top ten. The track program is also a consistent performer at all the levels. The Dragons hit their top performance in 2013 winning the NJCAA Division Outdoor Track & Field Championships for Men. Coach Musselman has his students to strive to be consistent in the classroom and the track.  He and the program have proven this over the years.
