Zach Sugar '17
Head Coach
Zach Sugar was named the head coach of the Husson University baseball team in June of 2025. In addition to his coaching duties, Sugar also serves as the director of facilities and event management at Husson after working as an assistant coach for the Eagles since 2018. CAREER AT A GLANCE: Since joining coach Morris’ staff in 2020, Sugar has helped the Eagles win five-straight North Atlantic Conference Championships and make five-straight NCAA Regional appearances. At Husson, Sugar has helped guide the Eagles to a 152-95 (.6185overall record with an impressive 86-15 (.851) mark in North Atlantic Conference contests. Sugar has coached one North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year winner — Jackson Curtis (2025). Sugar has helped developed multiple All-North Atlantic Conference honorees — Kobe Rogerson (2019, 2022), Chris Ewanik (2021), Akira Warren (2021), Tanner Evans (2022 & 2025) and Jackson Curtis (2024 & 2025). Sugar has coached one North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year — Kobe Rogerson (2019) Worked with three American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Division III All-Region Selection - Jackson Curtis (2023, 2024, 2025) Coached two Maine College Baseball & Softball Association All-State members - Jackson Curtis (2024, 2025). Guided two D3Baseball.com All-Region selections - Jackson Curtis (2024, 2025) Mentored one Maine College Baseball & Softball Association State Player of the Year — Jackson Curtis (2025). Additionally, Sugar has mentored three North Atlantic Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player recipients — Jackson Curtis (2021, 2024) and Keegan Cyr (2023). Led the Hampden Riverdogs to the 2019 American Legion State Championship and a berth into the New England Regional. COACHING TIMELINE: 2019 (Summer): Hampden Riverdogs 2018-Present: Husson University (Assistant Baseball Coach) ATHLETIC CAREER: As a player, Sugar was a two-year letter winner as an infielder for the Eagles from 2015-16 after transferring from Sussex County Community College. During his time with the Eagles, Sugar helped Husson to a 49-38 overall record and a North Atlantic Conference Runner-up performance in 2016. In 63 career games, Sugar batted .282 with 50 hits, three home runs, 31 RBI’s, 24 walks and six stolen bases. PERSONAL: A native of Canton, Conn. (South Kent High School). Earned his bachelor’s of science in business administration with a concentration in sports management from Husson in 2017. Resides in Hermon, Maine with his wife Gabby (Husson alumna) and son Jaxon.

Harvey enters his ninth season as the Husson head baseball coach in 2016. His record with the school and career record entering the season is 198-143. He is also assistant athletic director in charge of facilities and game management. Harvey guided the 2015 Eagles to a second place finish in the NAC and 11th-straight appearance in the conference tournament since joining NCAA Division III in 2005. The team produced five All-NAC selections, including Rookie of the Year Robert Graff. Harvey has led the Eagles to five conference tournament championship games and three titles (2009, 2011, 2013). Husson baseball has made two NCAA Regional Round appearances under Harvey in 2009 and 2011, winning two games in the 2009 regional round, which were the first in program history. Harvey was a three-sport athlete at Husson, playing baseball, men's basketball, and men's golf. The Bucksport, Maine, native was a three-year letterwinner as an infielder on the Eagles baseball team (2003, 2005-06). Harvey was a two-year captain for legendary head coach Dr. John Winkin and helped guide the Eagles to second place finishes in the NAC in 2005 and 2006. Harvey holds single-season Husson records for triples (9), doubles (14) and hits (79). Harvey is fourth all-time in batting average at .444 and holds the second longest consecutive game hitting streak with 22. He was named first team All-NAC in 2006 and 2007. Harvey spent the 2004 season at the University of Maine, starting every game at shortstop. Harvey was a four-year letterwinner at guard on the Eagles men's basketball team in 2003 and 2005-07. He ranks 25th all-time in scoring (1,215 points), 3rd in career free throw percentage (83%), 2nd in single-season free throw percentage (88.5%), 9th all-time in assists (355), and 7th in steals (179). Harvey was a two-year captain for the Eagles in 2006 and 2007 and was named Second Team All-Conference in 2006 and First Team in 2007. Harvey also played one season of golf in 2006, during which he was part of the North Atlantic Conference Championship winning team. Harvey was also a member of the Eagles men's golf team that won the 2006 NAC title. He was a co-head coach of the 2009 NAC Champion. Harvey was inducted into the Husson Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. A graduate of Bucksport High School, Harvey earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management from Husson in 2006. Jason and his wife, Kristin, a Husson women's soccer player and 2012 Sports Hall of Fame inductee, have two sons, Jacoby, 5, and Drew, 3.

Dylan Foster '15, '15G
Assistant Coach
Dylan Foster joined the Husson University baseball program as an assistant coach in 2024. In addition to serving as an assistant coach under head coach Chris Morris, Foster also serves as the program’s defensive coordinator working primarily with outfielders. CAREER AT A GLANCE: Since joining coach Morris’ staff in 2024, Foster has helped the Eagles win two North Atlantic Conference Championships and make two NCAA Regional appearances. At Husson, Foster has helped guide the Eagles to a 49-28 (.636) overall record with an impressive 29-6 (.829) mark in North Atlantic Conference contests. Foster has helped developed multiple All-North Atlantic Conference honorees — Akira Warren (2024 & 2025) and Matt Holmes (2024 & 2025). Foster has coached one North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year — Matt Holmes (2024) Coached three Maine College Baseball & Softball Association All-State member - Matt Holmes (2024, 2025) and Akira Warren (2025) Guided one D3Baseball.com All-Region selection - Matt Holmes (2024) COACHING TIMELINE: 2024-Present: Husson University (Assistant Baseball Coach) 2016-2023: Thomas College (Assistant Baseball Coach) ATHLETIC CAREER: As a player, Foster was a four-year letter winner for the Eagles from 2011-14 as an outfielder earning one North Atlantic Conference All-Conference selection. Earned North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in 2014 and All-New England honors from the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association, the American Baseball Coaches Association and d3baseball.com. In 139 career games, Foster batted .334 with 149 hits, three home runs, 15 doubles, seven triples, 56 RBI’s, 54 walks and 44 stolen bases. Foster helped Husson to a 100-68 overall record with a North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division regular-season title, North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division Championship and tournament championship in 2011 as well as a North Atlantic Conference Championship in 2013. Selected to the 2013 North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament team and was the second player in program history to be selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association senior all-star game. PERSONAL: A native of Oakland, Maine (Messalonskee High School). Earned a bachelor of science in business administration with concentration in hospitality & tourism management and a master’s degree in business administration from in 2015.
