Kissy Walker
Head Coach
Walker begins her 12th straight season and 25th overall as the Husson head women's basketball coach in 2015-16. Her career record entering the season is 425-234. Walker will be inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in Worcester, Mass., on August 8, 2015. Walker guided the Eagles to a second place finish in the NAC in 2014-15 and appearance in the conference tournament semifinals. Two players were named All-NAC. The Eagles won back-to-back NAC Championships in 2010 and 2011, with Walker earning NAC Coach of the Year honors three times from 2009-11. In 2002 and 2003, Walker took a two year hiatus to finish her Masters and focus on the adoption of her son, Isaiah, now 14. When she returned in 2004, the team went on a tear, winning 17 straight conference games, leading to a birth in the NCAA National Championship and another Coach of the Year award. Walker led Husson to four MAC Championships in 1993, 1995, 1996 and 1999. She was selected as the WMAC and State of Maine Coach of the Year in 1992. The State of Maine Coaches Association also voted her Coach of the Year in 1993 and 1995. During this period, Walker coached her team to four NAIA National Championship appearances, including a trip to the Fab Four in 1993. Walker came to Husson in 1988 as an assistant coach under her best friend and college teammate Lauree Gott. During that one season, the Eagles accumulated 26 wins to only 2 losses. Gott went on to coach at Northeastern University, and Walker became the new head coach. Walker came to Husson after spending 1987 and 1988 teaching physical education and coaching girls basketball, softball and gymnastics at the Holbrook School (Maine). Walker was a four-year letterwinner at guard for the women's basketball team at the University of Maine from 1983-86. Walker is a member of the Womens Basketball Coaches Association (WCBA). In the past, she was also part of the Maine Association of Physical Education (MAPHERED). She is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Bangor Humane Society and is the former President of The Maine Sports Legends, which awards annual scholarships to Maine youths. In addition to coaching, Walker serves as Hussons Director of Wellness and is a part-time faculty member. Walker earned a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education from the University of Maine in 1986.

Randy Dodge
Assistant Coach
Dodge graduated from Husson 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Adminstration - Sports Management. Coach Dodge worked as a residential director for eight years (1994-2002). He also coached the women's softball program for 5 years (1999-2003). Currently, he is works full time as a sales person for W.S. Emerson in Brewer, Maine. Coach Dodge works at the University of Southern Maine Swish Summer Basketball Camp in Gorham. He has coached basketball at Hampden Academy for both the boy's and girl's teams and was the Varsity girl's soccer coach for thirteen seasons. Randy resides in Bangor and enjoys camping, snowmobiling, boating, and golf.
