Bob Baker

Head Coach

Bob Baker was hired at Illinois Wesleyan's inaugural men's bowling coach in the fall of 2025. The program will begin competition in the 2026-27 academic year. Baker holds a career-high average of 236 and has over 70 300-games to his name. He has more than 30 800 series under his belt and was twice named the River City Men’s Bowler of the Year.  He coached the Morton High School bowling team in its inaugural season (2022-23) and has nearly five decades worth of experience in the sport overall. He is a Storm/Roto Grip/Global 900 staffer and has been since 2022, while he also serves as a Turbo 2 in 1 Grips staffer. Baker is a YABA certified coach and was a junior member of Team USA.
