Kent Snoddy
Head Coach
Kent Snoddy is in his first season as the Mighty Macs' head men's lacrosse coach in 2026. Snoddy earned his first career win as a head coach on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026. The Mighty Macs defeated Saint Vincent 7-6. Paul Murphy, Director of Athletics and Recreation at Immaculata University, has announced the promotion of Kent Snoddy to Head Coach of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Snoddy will also serve as Facility Coordinator for Draper Walsh Stadium and Alumnae Hall. Snoddy steps into the role following a historic 2025 season as Assistant Coach, where the team secured its first Atlantic East Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. His contributions to player development, game planning, and recruiting were instrumental to the team’s success. "We are thrilled to elevate Coach Snoddy," said Murphy. "His leadership and commitment to the program make him the ideal choice to continue building on our momentum." Snoddy brings valuable experience from his time as Manager for the University of Virginia Men’s Lacrosse team during its 2024 Final Four run. This role provided him with valuable insight into coaching techniques employed by a top collegiate program. A Randolph College graduate, he was a four-year player and two-time captain of the Randolph men’s lacrosse team, later earning a Master of Teaching from UVA in 2024. “I would like to thank Director of Athletics Paul Murphy and the search committee for giving me the opportunity to lead this program,” Snoddy said. “I look forward to guiding the program into a bright and successful future! Roll Macs!” Snoddy joined the coaching staff at Immaculata for the 2024-2025 campaign and currently serving as an assistant coach working closely with the defensive units. Snoddy is a 2023 graduate of Randolph college, where he was a member of the men's lacrosse team from 2019-2023. Snoddy was a 2 time team captain where he gained experience on offense, defense, goalkeeping, and faceoff. Snoddy joined the Immaculata coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in 2024 leading the defensive corp. The impact that was felt for Snoddy upon his first season with the Mighty Macs was immediate. IU, as he guided 5 members of the defense to All Conference honors, including 3 first team All Atlantic East members. Long stick midfielder Aidan Lawrence was named defensive player of the year under Snoddy’s tutelage on the defense in 2025. Immaculata had the highest save % of all conference teams at .594 %, as well as the 2nd lowest GAA at 9.56. ***Career Record at Immaculata/Career Record Overall updated as of Dec. 19, 2025***

Hugh Donovan
Assistant Coach
Donovan begins his third year as head coach of the Mighty Mac mens lacrosse program and Manager of Intramurals during 2016-17. Donovan became the first Immaculata men's lacrosse mentor to earn Colonial States Athletic Conference ( CSAC ) Coach of the Year honors in 2016. In just his second season at the helm, Donovan guided the Mighty Macs to a 6-10 overall and 2-5 CSAC mark. The six wins were the second-most in program history. Donovan mentored two players on the Second Team All-CSAC (Mike Reardon and Brendan Doyle), as well as Tyler Black, who was Honorable Mention All-CSAC. In his first season at the helm, the Mighty macs went 4-10 overall and 3-4 in the Colonial Stats Athletic Conference (CSAC). Two players (John Abruzzo and Brendan Doyle) earned Honorable Mention All-CSAC honors for Immaculata. Donovan came to Immaculata after serving as head coach at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland for the previous four seasons. Donovan compiled a record of 37-29 over his tenure, and earned bids to the Region XX Championships in all four seasons. His teams best season came in 2013 when Harford went 12-6, advanced to the Region XX Championship game, and later earned an at-large bid into the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Tournament. Donovan was a two-time NJCAA Region XX Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2013. Donovan also made two stops as an assistant prior to becoming a head coach. He served as an assistant as the defensive coordinator at Bucknell, his alma mater, for two years, and then went to Mount Saint Marys as an assistant for two years before entering a professional lacrosse career. Donovan is currently the head coach for the 2018 Rock Lacrosse Club, an elite high school lacrosse club in Baltimore, Md. He is also the director of the Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse Academy and director of HD Lacrosse. Donovan served as the director of the Mid-Atlantic Region for the Brine National Lacrosse Classic from 2013 to 2015. Donovans six-year professional career spanned indoor and outdoor leagues for the Baltimore Thunder, Pittsburgh Crossfire, Washington Power, Colorado Mammoth, Philadelphia Wings, and Baltimore Bayhawks . He made five playoff appearances and was on the MLL Championship Baltimore Bayhawk team in 2001. Before his successful professional lacrosse career, Donovan was a stand-out at Bucknell as a defenseman. He was an Honorable Mention All-American in 1996 as well as the Defensive Player of the Year in the Patriot League. He was First Team All-Patriot League his junior and senior seasons and Second Team All-Patriot League in his sophomore season. Donovan was also a captain his junior and senior season, and a member of the All-Decade Team for the Patriot League in 2000. Later, he was inducted into the Bucknell University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011. Donovan earned his Bachelors degree in Psychology from Bucknell in 1996. Donovan and his wife, Lauren, live in Havre de Grace, Md. with their three sons, Eamonn, Liam and Miles.
