Doug Edgar
Head Coach
Doug Edgar is entering his 15th season as the head track and field coach at Indiana Tech and 17th year overall with the program heading into 2024-25. He started with the Warriors as an assistant coach during the 2008 campaign and took over head coaching responsibilities prior to the 2010-11 season. During his tenure at Tech he has led the both programs to new heights with 17 NAIA National Championships between the two teams. In 2013, he coached the first NAIA National Championship team in the history of Indiana Tech. The men's team has captured six NAIA Indoor National Championship titles (2014-17, 2019, 2021) and three NAIA Outdoor National Championships (2013, 2014, 2016) while the women have captured three outdoor titles (2013, 2014, 2021) and five indoor championships (2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). He has been named the NAIA Coach of the Year 17 times while the men's cross country and track and field programs garnered three consecutive U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NAIA Program of the Year honors between 2015 and 2018. The Warriors have also been the class of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) with 22 men's titles and 24 women's titles since Edgar took over as head coach. He has been named the WHAC Coach of the Year 37 times across both teams and seasons. While at Tech, he has coached student-athletes to over 700 All-American honors between the two programs. Hundreds of Warriors have garnered WHAC All-Conference, All-Academic Team, NAIA Scholar-Athlete and WHAC Athlete of the Week honors during his tenure. Coach Edgar is USATF level 2 certified in the sprints, hurdles, relays and jumps. In 2012 he was named an Emerging Elite Coach by USA Track and Field (USATF). This distinction gained him a scholarship to a week-long camp at the USA Olympic Training center in Chula Vista, California. Edgar also has a sprints, hurdles and relays certificate from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Before coming to Indiana Tech, Edgar started his coaching career at Concordia Lutheran High School. He spent the next three seasons at Muncie South High School as the cross country and track coach. While at Muncie South he helped guide the Rebels to the first regional cross country championship in school history. Additionally, on the track he helped lead his team to back-to-back sectional championships for the first time in school history. During his time at Muncie South he coached state qualifiers in the 4x200, 4x400, 55 meter dash, 100 meter dash, high jump and long jump. In his athletic career, Edgar was a three-time All-State runner at Concordia Lutheran High School. He still owns the school record as part of the sprint medley and 4x400 relay teams. Edgar was also a two-time qualifier as part of the 3200 meter relay team. He went on to attend Anderson University (Ind.) where he was a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) champion as part of the 4x400 meter relay and individually was runner-up in the open 400. Edgar currently lives in Fort Wayne with his wife Samantha, and their four children, daughters Addyson and Elodie, and sons Bohden and Ezekiel.

Alex Kluchki
Head Coach
Alexander Kluchki is entering his fourth full season as the head cross country coach at Indiana Tech heading into the 2024 season. Kluchki, who also serves as an assistant coach on the track and field teams, was hired following a national search in February, 2021. In his first three seasons leading the men's and women's cross country teams, he has coached three All-WHAC selection, one WHAC Newcomer-of-the-Year winner, 11 WHAC All-Academic Team members, ten NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and one USTFCCCA All-Academic Team member on the men's side and eight All-WHAC selections, 16 WHAC All-Academic Team members, three NAIA All-Americans, ten NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and four USTFCCCA All-Academic Team members on the women's side. Last season, Kluchki led Tech to a third place finish in the WHAC Championships on the women’s side and a fourth place finish on the men’s side. Lisa Voyles and McKenna Palmer would represent the Warriors at the NAIA National Championships in Vancouver, Washington, where Voyles became Tech’s first three-time cross country All-American! The women's side would finish the season with two All-WHAC selections, six WHAC All-Academic Team members, one NAIA All-American, and four NAIA Scholar-Athletes, while the men's side had four WHAC All-Academic Team members, and three NAIA Scholar-Athletes. In 2022, Kluchki led the Warrior women's cross country team to a second place finish at the WHAC Championships, while leading the men to a fourth place finish. He also led the women to an 18th place team finish at the NAIA National Championships, the third best finish in program history and best since 2008. Kluchki coached Lisa Voyles on her way to back to back All-American status, making her the first repeat All-American in program history. In his first year at Tech (2021), Kluchki saw the Warrior women's cross country team qualify for the national meet for the first time since 2018. Their 20th place finish was the best for Tech since 2013. He led the women to a third place finish at the WHAC Championships and the men to a fourth place finish. Kluchki helped Lisa Voyles become the fourth All-American in Tech women's cross country history. On the track side, Kluchki also coached Voyles to individual national championships in the indoor 1000m and the outdoor 800m. The women's distance medley team also capture a national title at the indoor national championship meet in Brookings, South Dakota. Prior to Indiana Tech, Kluchki was at NAIA competitor University of the Cumberlands, where he served as the head cross country coach and assistant track & field coach since 2016. While there he has coached one national champion, 14 All-Americans between, 40 National Qualifiers and 50 All-Conference Honorees. Kluchki's other coaching experience consists of one year at Tennessee Wesleyan as the interim head cross country and track & field coach. Kluchki earned a Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance while at the University of the Cumberlands and graduated from Lewis University in May 2014 with a Bachelor's in Sports Management with a minor in Psychology.

Austin Roark
Assistant Coach
Roark begins his first season with Indiana Tech coaching the jumps and throws. Before joining the staff, he served four seasons as a coach at Eastern Howarrd High School in Greentown, Ind. He was a Head Coach the past two seasons after serving as the jumps and sprints coach for two years. As head coach, he coached seven state qualifiers and an IHSAA state champion (Grant Cole- 2013 IHSAA Long Jump State Champion). Eleven Eastern High School records were broken under his watch and he coached Eastern to its second ever sectional championship in 2013 and a fourth place finish at regionals, the highest ever at a regional. He served as the long jump coach for the Indiana Track & Field All-Stars at the Midwest Meet of Champions in 2013 and was a IATCCC Coach of the Year Nominee in 2013. Roark is a USATF Level I and Level II-Jumps certified coach. He graduated from Brown Mackie College-Indianapolis with an A.A.S in Occupational Therapy Assisting and works full time as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Prior to attending Brown Mackie College, he received a scholarship to compete in track and field (jumps) at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Ind. He and his wife Kelly reside in Swayzee, Ind. with their two children, Charli (3) and Ripley (1).

Nick Sharin
Assistant Coach
Sharin is entering his third year as a coach at Indiana Tech. Before joining the staff, Sharin served as the Head Track and Field coach for five years for the Wayne Lady Generals. During his time with the Generals he coached 25 state qualifiers, 10 All-State athletes and led the Generals to their first ever team sectional championships in 2008 and 2009. Sharin was instrumental in mentoring the Warriors sprints, jumpers and hurdlers during his first season with the team. He will take over duties as recruiting coordinator for the Warriors in 2012 as he continues to work with the sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers. Sharin is USATF Level 1 certified and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University. Sharin began his post-secondary education at the University of St. Francis on a football scholarship where he was a member of the Cougar football team for two years before transferring in 2002. Sharin married his wife Tiffany in 2006 and they have two children, a daughter Olivia (4) and son Nickolas (2).

Brandon Bronzan
Assistant Coach
Brandon Bronzan returns for his fourth season as assistant coach with the Indiana Tech Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Bronzan comes to the Warriors following a one-year stint at the University of Saint Francis where he was an assistant coach with the Cougar track & field program. Prior to USF he spent two years as the head coach for the cross country and track & field programs at Windsor High School (Calif.), leading both the boys and girls cross country teams to the North Bay League title in 2019. Bronzan spent 15 years as an athletics administrator at Sonoma State University prior to taking over at Windsor. Bronzan competed in cross country and track & field at Mt. Whitney High School and College of the Sequoias, both in Visalia, California. Originally from Visalia, Bronzan graduated from Sonoma State in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration. He received his Master's Degree in Sport Management from California University of Pennsylvania in 2011. He currently lives in Fort Wayne with his wife Tiffany, daughter Olivia, and son Luke.

Wolfe begins his fourth season as the head cross country coach and seventh season as distance coach for the track and field teams at Indiana Tech. While at Tech he has taken the cross county program to new levels nationally while guiding the distance runners for the nationally renowned track and field teams into a dynasty.
