Chris Perzinski
Associate Head Coach
Chris Perzinski was elevated to Associate Head Coach of Jacksonville Men's Lacrosse in June of 2023 and Recruiting Coordinator in July 2024. The 2024 season brought more success to Jacksonville's lacrosse program, winning 13 games while the defense created new standards for the program holding 12 of 18 opponents to single digits in 2024, making a run to the conference championship last season while earning a share of the regular season title. The Dolphins finished the season at 13-5, playing a nationally competitive non-conference slate and earning an 8-1 conference record. On the recruiting trail, Perzinski was given the recruiting coordinator title after consistently bringing top talent to the Sunshine State, developing talent at an elite level. During the 2023 season, Jacksonville finished with another top-10 victory, taking down the sixth-ranked and eventual national runner-up Duke Blue Devils 13-12 in Jacksonville. The win came in the second game of the season, but foreshadowed the season for JU as the defense, led by Perzinski, helped JU to a 12-4 record with Troy Hettinger earning honors as the ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the program's second consecutive player selected for the award. In 2022, the Dolphins had a "year of firsts", which included the first season with multiple ranked wins in program history, first national ranking, first 10-win season, and first SoCon regular season championship. On the defensive side, the Dolphins finished in the top-3 nationally in scoring defense, scoring margin, and caused turnovers per game. Perzinski joined the Jacksonville staff for the 2022 season after a successful four-year stint as the head coach at Division III Elizabethtown College. Perzinski was in his fourth season as the head men's lacrosse coach at Elizabethtown in 2020, having already led the Blue Jays to three straight Landmark Conference championships and the program's first ever NCAA tournament victory in 2018. In 2019, Perzinski scheduled half of his program's non-conference games against teams ranked in the top-20 in Divison III. After earning the top seed for the Landmark Tournament, the Blue Jays outscored their opponents, 29-12, to claim a third consecutive league championship. Perzinski guided the Blue Jays through crunch time during their NCAA Division III Championship First Round game against John Carroll at Gettysburg in 2018. E-town held JCU to a single goal in the second half and scored all three fourth-quarter goals to capture a 9-6 victory, the team's first in the national tournament. Elizabethtown would fall in the Second Round to host Gettysburg, which advanced to the Final Four. An 11-7 late regular season victory over 18th-ranked Washington & Lee at the US Lacrosse Headquarters propelled Elizabethtown into the postseason. Coming off an unbeaten regular season in league play, E-town went on to win a conference title for the first time in program history. The Blue Jays received their first NCAA tournament berth and came within a quarter of upsetting 10th-ranked Franklin & Marshall in the Second Round, dropping an 11-8 decision to end the season 14-4. Perzinski was named 2018 Landmark Conference Coach of the Year and has mentored eight All-Americans in his short time with the College. 2020 saw a program-record three All-Americans, as goalie Tom Mahoney garnered the accolade for the second time in his career while Mike Scrafano and Alec Leslie received the honor for the first time in their careers. Defenseman Jeremy Klipple '19, the 2018 Landmark Player of the Year, was a two-time USILA All-America Honorable Mention pick, while Joe Clark and Mike Specht were All-America Honorable Mention selections in 2017. Perzinski, a former All-American defenseman and the 2015 USILA DIII Assistant Coach of the Year, was the fourth head coach in Elizabethtown program history. Perzinski developed his craft under two of Division III's elite and well-respected coaches in Lynchburg College's Steve Koudelka and Gettysburg's Hank Janczyk. In 2016, Perzinski was an assistant at the University of Richmond for head coach Dan Chemotti, serving as recruiting coordinator, special teams coach and supporting the defense. The Spiders registered an 11-5 record and reached the Southern Conference championship in just their third year of existence. The program claimed marquee victories over No. 9 Duke, Fairfield and High Point. Perzinski spent four seasons coaching under Koudelka at his alma mater, Lynchburg, between 2011-15. He was a graduate assistant during the 2011 and 2012 seasons before moving into an assistant coaching role for Janczyk at Gettysburg in 2013. Perzinski returned to Lynchburg as an assistant in 2014 and 2015, culminating with a 21-win season --the winningest campaign in program history-- and national runner-up finish. Lynchburg racked up 68 wins and three Old Dominion Athletic Conference titles (2012, 2014 and 2015) with Perzinski on staff. The Hornets qualified for three NCAA tournaments and advanced to the national championship game in 2015, against Tufts, after dismissing No. 8 Salisbury and No. 2 Gettysburg in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. In his lone year at Gettysburg, Perzinski was the defensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and strength and conditioning coach. The Bullets faced five nationally-ranked teams, earning victories over No. 3 Lynchburg and No. 12 Washington College on their way to a 9-7 record. During his five seasons as a Division III assistant, Perzinski recruited and coached 15 All-Americans, four of whom were First Team selections. Perzinski was an All-American defenseman at Lynchburg, receiving USILA Third Team honors as a senior in 2008. He played on Hornet teams that won ODAC championships in 2005 and 2008, made three NCAA tournament appearances and collected a 55-16 record during his playing career. He also earned a spot on the All-ODAC First Team and VaSID All-State Second Team as a senior, and was selected to play in the North-South game. Following his collegiate playing career, Perzinski was the first captain of the Polish National Lacrosse team that competed in the World Games of 2010 in Manchester, England, and 2014 in Denver, Colorado. A native of Freeland, Maryland, Perzinski started his coaching career at Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, Virginia. He coached the team to a Northwest Region title in 2009 and was named U.S. Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year in 2010 for the Virginia High School Region. Perzinski received his undergraduate degree in business marketing from Lynchburg in 2008 and returned to the school for his master's degree in educational leadership in 2012.

JT Giles-Harris
Assistant Coach
Giles-Harris joined the Dolphins staff in the summer of 2023. "Hiring JT has felt like years in the making," said head coach John Galloway. "After watching JT's work ethic while on the sidelines and recruiting at Hampton, our staff knew this was someone who would make our program better. JT has humility and confidence that are rare in a player of his level. His playing experience speaks for itself. As the defenseman of the year in the PLL in 2022, JT is still learning from the best at the highest level. He will also be leading the Team USA defense this upcoming week in the world championship games. JT's pedigree will motivate everyone in our locker room, including players and staff. I can't wait to go to war with him!" Giles-Harris comes from Hampton University, where he spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach. While coaching at Hampton, Giles-Harris has also had a successful professional playing career in the Premier Lacrosse League. In 2022, the year Giles-Harris started coaching, he was named the PLL's defensive player of the year, as well as an All-Star. Recently, the Duke grad was featured on the cover of USA Lacrosse Magazine as he prepared to play for Team USA this summer at the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship. In the Championship less than a week ago, Giles-Harris and the US took home gold on July 1 and the new Dolphins assistant coach was named to the tournaments All-World Team for his dominant display. Now, the decorated lacrosse player will coach at Jacksonville. "I am excited to join Coach Galloway and his staff at Jacksonville University," said Giles-Harris. "Coach Woodson and Hampton University provided me an excellent stepping stone for my career, and I hope to continue learning from one of the best staffs in the country." Giles-Harris played in 81 games across five seasons at Duke and was a two-year team captain of the Blue Devils. During his career, he won the 2021 William F. Schmeisser Award, which is awarded annually to the nation's top defenseman. He was also a three-time All-American, twice first team and once third team, and a two-time All-ACC selection. He currently holds the Duke program record for caused turnovers with 89 and scooped up 147 ground balls during his days as a collegiate player. After his collegiate career, Giles-Harris was drafted third overall in the PLL College Draft by Chrome Lacrosse Club. Not to be overshadowed, Giles-Harris was a standout in the classroom as well, as he was named to the All-ACC Academic Team twice and the ACC Academic Honor Roll three times. A native of Nyack, New York and a graduate of St. Joseph Regional (New Jersey) High School, Giles-Harris was a four-year letter winner in lacrosse where he scooped up 511 ground balls in his career and was a 2016 Under Armour All-American pick.

Danielle Della Rocca
Assistant Coach
Danielle Della Rocca enters her eighth season as a member of the JU Lacrosse program support staff, earning a promotion to Assistant AD of Lacrosse Operations in July of 2024. Della Rocca, who joined the staff ahead of the 2018 season has also served as a Graduate Assistant and Director of Quality Control/Program Manager. As the Director of Lacrosse Operations in 2023 and 2024, Della Rocca helped Jacksonville move into national prominence, playing a nationally competitive schedule, while playing games all around the country. During her time on the coaching staff, the Dolphins made four NCAA Tournament appearances and recorded a 17-win season in 2019, which matched a program record established in 2015 when she was a member of the team. The 2019 team also hosted the first NCAA Tournament game at D.B. Milne Stadium, a 22-7 win over Mercer. In 2022, Della-Rocca was apart of a staff that helped lead the Dolphins to their fourth straight regular season title, and ninth overall (ASUN & NLC), while also claiming the conference tournament win and their eighth bid to the NCAA Tournament all time. In their NCAA Tournament Round One match against the Stanford Cardinal, JU put on one of their most complete performances of the season as they ran away with a 20-8 victory, advancing to the second round of the tournament for the third time in program history. Unfortunately, the 'Phins then dropped their second round matchup to Florida by a score of 15-10, effectively ending the historic season. After returning to the field for the first time since the coronavirus outbreak in 2021, the Dolphins had one of the programs most historical seasons to date. The Dolphins season-opener consisted of a victory over Florida, the program's first win against a top-ranked team. JU finished conference play 3-0, and proceeded to win the program's fourth-straight, seventh ASUN Conference Title. Once the Dolphins recieved its seventh NCAA Tournament Bid, the program went to the second round of the tournament for the first time in program history. The 2020 team was 3-1 overall and beat Stetson to start 1-0 in ASUN Conference play when the season stopped due to the coronavirus outbreak. A native of Port Jefferson, New York and a four-year standout for the Dolphins, Della Rocca was three times named First Team All-ASUN and twice named to the ASUN All-Tournament team, while earning ASUN Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2017 and a spot on the ASUN All-Freshman team in 2014. During her career, JU claimed four ASUN regular season titles, three ASUN tournament titles and made three appearances in the NCAA Tournament. She is one of four members of the program's 200 Club and one of 12 members of the 100 Club, as she finished her career with 261 points and 186 goals, both of which are the most in program history. Della Rocca sits at or near the top of several categories in the JU record books. She led the team in points and goals from 2015-2017 and assists in 2015 and 2016. She ranks second in program history in single-season points with 84 while laying claim to three spots in the single-season goals list with 60, 55 and 47, good for third, fourth and ninth respectively. She possesses two spots on the single-season assist list, as 29 and 22 rank second and tied for 10th all-time. Her 13 free-position goals are tied for fourth-most in a season, and 28 for her career are tied for fifth-most in program history. A two-time graduate of JU, Della Rocca earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport Business in 2017 and earned her Master's of Business Administration in 2019.
