Kelsey Shewbridge '18G enters her third season as head coach of JCU Women's Lacrosse in the 2025-26 academic year.  Shewbridge's Blue Streaks enjoyed one of the best seasons in program history in 2025 while celebrating the program's 10th anniversary. John Carroll won a share of the OAC Regular Season Championship and made the team's first OAC Tournament Championship since 2022. JCU made the NCAA Tournament as an at-large team, earning the second trip to the big dance in program history. The Blue Streaks also won the program's second NCAA postseason game. JCU won 14 games in a row to start the season, the best start in program history, and finished unbeaten at home (9-0) for the second time ever. Shewbridge helped the Blue Streaks finish top 25 in NCAA Division III in five statistical categories. She coached nine All-OAC picks, including Abby Cassidy as the OAC Newcomer of the Year. Olivia Hanulak and Riley Knapp both garnered spots on IWLCA All-Region team.  During her first campaign, Shewbridge steered the Blue Streaks to the OAC Tournament. She coached six All-OAC selections, including Jill McDonnell as the OAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year. As a team, JCU achieved IWLCA Academic Honor Roll status, as four Blue Streaks made the honor roll individually.  Shewbridge had six years of coaching experience at the Division III level prior to arriving as head coach. The Medina native got her start in coaching as a volunteer assistant for John Carroll Women’s Lacrosse during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.  Shewbridge arrives in University Heights following a season-long stint at Bates College. The Bobcats tallied 5 wins this past season, the most for the program since 2019. Bates plays in one of the toughest Division III conferences in the country, the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference).  Shewbridge served as an assistant coach at Baldwin Wallace for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. The Yellow Jackets tripled their win total from 2021 to 2022, returning to the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament in 2022. Previously, she was an assistant coach at Kenyon College for the 2019 season. While at Kenyon, she helped guide the Owls to a 13-5 overall record, a 6-2 mark in the North Coast Athletic Conference, and a quarterfinal appearance in the NCAC Tournament.  While pursuing her Master of Arts in English at JCU, Shewbridge was an assistant coach for the Blue Streaks from 2017-18. She aided the coaching staff in a number of ways, including teaching defensive skills and strategies, implementing practice plans, evaluating player performances, analyzing game film, and helping with recruiting. Shewbridge also served as a teaching and research assistant in the John Carroll Department of English. During the 2017 season, the Blue Streaks tallied an 11-5 overall record, 6-2 in OAC play. John Carroll improved to 14-3 overall and 7-1 in OAC play in 2018. Both seasons ended with trips to the OAC Tournament Semifinal.  Shewbridge also enjoyed an outstanding playing career at the University of Mount Union. During her time in Alliance, the Purple Raiders won three OAC Championships and made three trips to the NCAA Tournament. Mount Union made it to the third round of the big dance in 2015.  The Medina High School graduate appeared and started in 70 career games for Mount Union, tallying 22 goals and 11 assists. The defensive midfielder also notched 78 groundballs and 43 caused turnovers. Shewbridge finished as a three-time All-OAC and Academic All-OAC selection, and notched an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Great Lakes Region Second Team honors in 2016. Joe Rautenstrauch '23G enters his 10th season as the head coach of the John Carroll Men's Lacrosse program in the 2025-2026 school year. Career Accomplishments 2024 & 2022 OAC Coach of the Year 7 NCAA Tournament appearances 6 USILA All-Americans 4 USA Lacrosse Magazine All-Americans 7 OAC Tournament Championships 3 OAC Regular Season Championships 4 OAC Defensive Players of the Year 4 OAC Offensive Players of the Year 1 OAC Freshman of the Year 76 All-OAC selections .735 winning percentage, ranking 11th among active Division III coaches and 16th across all divisions In his first nine seasons as head coach, Rautenstrauch led the Blue Streaks to a combined 108-39 (58-11 OAC) record, earning seven OAC Tournament Championships and seven automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.  Rautenstrauch in the only coach in program history to earn a win during the NCAA Tournament. The first victory came when the Blue Streaks defeated Albion College 14-9 in 2017. A second victory followed 2019 when John Carroll won in overtime against Hope College (7-6). Rautenstrauch's 2022 Blue Streaks won the first-ever NCAA Tournament game played in Greater Cleveland, beating North Central at Don Shula Stadium. The 2023 Blue Streaks won again at home in the NCAA Tournament, defeating Lake Forest (23-2).  Rautenstrauch came to John Carroll from his alma mater, Canisius College. A four-year letterwinner for the Griffs,he helped lead Canisius to the MAAC championship during his junior campaign. Post graduation, he was promoted to an assistant coaching role, where he focused on working with the faceoff units and the goaltenders. He also served as the defensive coordinator in 2016. In addition to coaching, Rautenstrauch spent one academic year as an adjunct professor at Canisius. At the middle school and high school level, Rautenstrauch was a head coach at the Buffalo Lacrosse Academy in 2015 and 2016. He also worked multiple summer lacrosse camps throughout the northeast and midwestern states. Camps included the Southern Ohio Shootout and the Ohio State Buckeye Battle. Outside of lacrosse, Rautenstrauch has been involved in multiple service organizations such as Team Impact!, Habitat for Humanity, and HEADstrong. Rautenstrauch earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Canisius in 2013. He then went on to obtain a Master's in Sports Administration at his alma mater the following year, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Farley is an assistant coach for the John Carroll University men's lacrosse team. Farley is in his first year on staff. He graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management.  The Camillus, N.Y. native was a team captain as a senior. He played in 13 games last season for the Pioneers, recording 19 points on 15 goals and four assists.  Prior to his time at Sacred Heart, Farley spent a post-graduate year with Bridgton Academy. He played Senior B lacrosse for one year with the Rochester Greywolves, and was a six-year veteran of Junior B lacrosse with the Onondaga Redhawks. Farley attended West Genesee High School in Camillus, N.Y. where he was part of two sectional championship teams. 

Dorn has joined the John Carroll University mens lacrosse team as its new graduate assistant. Dorn, a standout goalkeeper for the Red Hawks, was a 2-time USILA All-American and a USILA Scholar All-American. He was named to the Capital One Academic® All-America At-Large Team. As a senior, Dorn led the Red Hawks to the highest ranking in program history at 10th and helped guide Montclair State to a 16-2 record including a win over a top-10 program. The 2-time Skyline Conference player of the year was chose to play in the Division III North-South Senior All-Star Game and was the Division III Player of the Week after leading Montclair State to a win over No. 6 Dickinson. Dorns 7.01 career goals against average is the best all-time at Montclair State and 24th all-time nationally. He was named the Sam Mills Most Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year at Montclair State and was in Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society. Dorn graduated with a degree in management with a concentration in business administration. The 3-sport standout at North Warren Regional High School lettered in soccer, lacrosse and wrestling. He will be pursuing his MBA at John Carroll.

Marlo Peck enters her second year as a part-time assistant coach with the women's lacrosse team in the 2025-26 academic year.  In her first season, the Blue Streaks enjoyed a great deal of success in 2025. John Carroll won a share of the OAC Regular Season Championship and made the team's first OAC Tournament Championship since 2022. JCU made the NCAA Tournament as an at-large team, earning the second trip to the big dance in program history. The Blue Streaks also won the program's second NCAA postseason game. JCU managed 9 All-OAC selections and two All-Region honorees. Peck previously served as a girls’ lacrosse coach for the Chagrin Athletic Association. Peck helped to grow the game in Chagrin Falls, growing the player base and mentoring many young women over her years with the organization from 2015-22. She also is a founding board member of the North Ohio Lacrosse League, an organization that oversees youth lacrosse in Northeast Ohio. Peck also works part-time as National Sales Manager for Lacrosse Balls Direct, selling the top brand of lacrosse balls as well as other equipment and accessories. A 1995 Denison University graduate, Peck earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Government. She acquired her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University in 2002.   

Tim Edwards enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with John Carroll Men's Lacrosse for the 2025-26 school year. The Blue Streaks have won OAC Tournament Championships in four of his five seasons in University Heights. In his first season in 2021, Edwards helped to lead the Blue Streaks to a 14-2 record, along with the OAC Tournament Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. In his second campaign, the Blue Streaks won another OAC Tournament Championship and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, defeating North Central in the opening round. In his third go-around, the Blue Streaks won the 2023 OAC Tournament title on the road and punched a ticket to the NCAA Tournament. In his fourth season, the Blue & Gold clinched a share of the OAC regular season crown before rolling to the OAC Tournament Championship and another NCAA Tournament. In his fifth campaign, the Blue Streaks notched a 9-8 overall record and made the OAC Semifinal.  Edwards also plays professionally. He helped the Colorado Mammoth win the 2022 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Championship and steered the Mammoth to the 2023 NLL Finals. In the Professional Lacrosse League (PLL), Edwards played for the Cannons.  Edwards was hired in December of 2020 to be an assistant for the men's lacrosse team. Edwards' lacrosse career has taken him around the country, as he was a member of the US Indoor National team, played in the MLL, and NLL. Edwards was also formerly an assistant coach at the Division I level of men's lacrosse. Edwards, a New Yorker, played college lacrosse at Canisius and was member of the Griffins squad that qualified for the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Edwards earned conference "Rookie of the Year" honors, and made his name commonplace on the MAAC's First-Team- an honor he recieved three times. Edwards was drafted to both the MLL and NLL and made his debuts for the Florida Launch and Buffalo Bandits in 2017.  Since making his first appearance for the US Indoor National team in 2018, Edwards has participated in a number of major events such as the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. Edwards scored a goal for the Americans in their bronze medal game against England.  Having played multiple positions, Edwards brings a unique aspect of being able to relate and coach multiple positions. Edwards last coached at Canisius before moving over to Carroll.

Britta Treu enters her second season as an assistant coach with women's lacrosse in 2025-26. In her first year with the Blue Streaks, Treu helped to guide John Carroll to a OAC Regular Season Championship as well as an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Treu served as offensive coordinator, guiding a strong offensive attack for the Blue Streaks. JCU finished in the top 25 scoring in NCAA Division III (15.63 goals per game). Treu played four seasons at The College of Wooster, graduating in 2023. Treu broke a 20-year program record for assists in her senior season while ranking 22nd nationally with 2.63 assists per game. Treu notched Second Team All-NCAC and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors as a senior, in addition to being a nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year and a finalist for the NCAC's Pam Smith Award. She finished fourth in Wooster history with 78 career assists. Academically, Treu made both the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and the NCAC Academic Honor Roll. Treu also received two prestigious awards at Wooster: The William A. Galpin Award for General Excellence in College Work and The Theodore Williams Prize in Music. After receiving her undergrad degree from Wooster, she attended the University of Mount Union, where she pursued an M.B.A. degree and decided to use her fifth year of eligibility in 2024. Treu played 16 games for the Purple Raiders, tallying 37 points for them, including 28 assists, which ranked second for Mount Union. In 2023, Treu was a volunteer coach for Maine Moose Lacrosse, where she led a youth lacrosse clinic for members of the Mi'kmaq Nation. From 2020-23, she served as a coach for the Maxim Lacrosse Club where she helped youth, middle and high school players build the fundamental skills needed to succeed in lacrosse. (Pronounced: Troy)
