Head Coach
Mike Ott was named Kalamazoo College's head baseball coach in June of 2012. The 2023 D3baseball.com Region 7 Coach of the Year is Kalamazoo's winningest coach with 316 career wins. Ott has led the Hornets to MIAA regular season and tournament championships and three NCAA Regionals. Dylan Cooper
Associate Head Coach
Dylan Cooper joined the Kalamazoo College baseball staff as an assistant for the 2024-2025 season. A native of Watchung, New Jersey, Cooper previously served as the Head Coach of Zoned Sports Academy’s 17u Elite Team. With experience coaching ages 10-18, Cooper has developed players of all age and skill levels, while playing against top competition in the Northeast. A graduate of Rutgers University, Cooper played collegiately at Raritan Valley where he helped the Lions reach their first playoff berth in over 20 years as a starting outfielder.

Matt Rehfeldt
Assistant Coach
Matt Rehfeldt returned to Kalamazoo College in June of 2025 as an assistant coach - pitching coach. Rehfeldt previously assisted with the Hornet pitchers during the 2024 season. Kalamazoo won an MIAA championship that season with a 30-11 overall record (16-5 MIAA). Rehfeldt was an assistant coach at Earlham College in 2024-25. Before coaching collegiately, Rehfeldt was the varsity pitching coach at South Lyon East High School, assistant coach in travel baseball for Team Elite, and a private instructor at EL1 Clinton Township. Rehfeldt graduated from Olivet College (now known as The University of Olivet) in 2020 where he pitched for the Comets.
