Ali Borhani
Head Coach
Pre-Keiser Borhani comes to Keiser after spending four years as a private coach for two juniors and three professional players. Between those five players, Borhani has coached three ITF singles title winners and 11 doubles title winners. He has coached multiple players from unranked into the top 400 of their respective classes. Before Borhani took his role as a private coach, he was coaching at Boise State for three seasons. In his three years with the Broncos, the team went from as low as a 242 ranking to a 64 ranking in the NCAA. Under Borhani, five Broncos have earned All-MW recognition, the team has earned 11 Academic All-Mountain West and five MW Scholar-Athlete accolades (3.5 or better cumulative GPA), as well as two ITA Scholar-Athlete awards. In 2021, he was a finalist for National Assistant Coach of the Year. Borhani came to Boise State from Mesa Community College in Arizona, where he spent five years, four as an assistant and one as the head coach for both the men's and women's programs. During Borhani's five years at Mesa, he helped guide the men's team to five consecutive trips to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Championship tournament, registering five top-10 finishes, including fourth place in 2014 and a fifth-place result in 2015. The women's team reached the national tournament three times in the five-year stretch, placing in the top 10 each time, including a third-place finish in 2016. While at Mesa, Borhani helped the men's team to five straight NJCAA regional championships 2014 to 2018 and the women to the 2014 championship and back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017. He was named the ITA Men's Tennis Regional Assistant Coach of the Year twice, in 2016 and 2017, in addition to the ITA National Assistant Coach of the Year and Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) Assistant Coach of the Year in 2017. During his final year at the helm in Mesa, the men's team recorded their fifth-consecutive undefeated conference record and placed ninth at the NJCAA National Tournament. Prior to Mesa Community College, he coached for one season at his alma mater Scottsdale Community College (Ariz.) where he was named the ACCAC Coach of the Year in 2013 after taking the Artichokes to a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA National Championship. Personal Borhani attended Scottsdale Community College, where he was an all-conference player. He received his associate's degree from Scottsdale in 2008 and a bachelor's in 2018 from Ottawa University (Ariz.).

Adam Epstein
Head Coach
Adam Epstein enters his 10th year as the Head Coach of the Keiser University Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams. Epstein was named the first coach at Keiser in June of 2016. Epstein has led the men to six NAIA National Championships and the women to four NAIA National Championships. Effective Epstein Led the men’s team to six NAIA National Championships (2018-19-20-22-23-25) Guided the women’s squad to four consecutive National Championships (2022-23-24-25) Coached 50 NAIA Individual National Champions on the men’s side with Lukas Macek and Marcel Nagy leading the way with eight apiece. In addition, the men have 26 Relay National Titles The men have had seven NAIA Swimmer of the Year awards and six NAIA Swim of the Meet honors, while the women have won two NAIA Swimmer of the Year, and two NAIA Swim of the Meet honors The women have 22 NAIA Individual National Championships and 21 Relay National Championships Epstein has been named the NAIA Coach of the Year on five occasions for the men and three times for the women The men and women have claimed two Sun Coast Swimming Conference Championships (2019-20) Both men and women claimed back-to-back-back Sun Conference Championship titles (2023-24-25) In nine years, Keiser has 200 All-Conference individual honors on the men’s side and 215 on the women’s side. The men have 215 NAIA All-American honors and 192 for the women for individuals In relays, the Seahawks have 41 All-Conference awards for the men and 39 for the women. At the games, the squad brought back 17 gold, 15 silver, and nine bronze medals. The team also broke 13-meet records in the process. His first opportunity came in 2013 as the Head Junior Coach of the 19th World Maccabiah Games. Pre-Keiser Prior to Keiser, Epstein served as the Assistant Coach at Indian River State College, helping the teams continue their national win streaks with 42 straight national titles on the men's side, and 38 national titles on the women's side. Throughout his tenure, the teams broke 51 NJCAA national records. Swimming Career Epstein was a four-year letter winner for the Florida Atlantic University Owls, as well as the team captain his senior year. Outside of the pool, he was the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was a recipient of the Athletic Department's Community Service Award, and Spirit Award. Personal Epstein graduated from FAU with Bachelor's degrees in Public Communication, Sociology, and Social Sciences in 2009. He went on to obtain his Master’s in Communications from FAU. Epstein resides in Royal Palm Beach with his wife Nicole and two kids, Aiden and Olivia.

During his time at FNU, Pryor, who started the program in 2019, amassed an 81-41 record with the Conquistadors, including back-to-back USCAA National Championship titles (2020-21 & 2021-22). Named the USCAA National Coach of the Year (2020-21), Pryor coached four First-Team All-Americans and 10 Academic All-Americans while at FNU. Before joining FNU, Pryor led the Blue Angels of the College of New Rochelle for three seasons. During his tenure at the College of New Rochelle, Pryor led his team to its first (16-10) and second (22-10) winning seasons and secured the College's first post-season appearance (2016-17). In addition, he twice coached the team to an NCAA DIII Scoring Title (2016-17, 2017-18). In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Coach Pryor also served as the head coach of the Empire State Huskies from 2011-2019, helping secure NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA placements and scholarships for graduating high school players. Personal Pryor served in the United States Marine Corps from 1991-1995. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. He also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1995-1999. A 1996 graduate of the College of West Virginia, Pryor is married and the father of three daughters and a son. A native of the Bronx, New York, he currently lives in West Palm Beach. Per-Shawna Williams

Per-Shawna's Persistence Per-Shawna Williams enters her second season as an assistant coach for the track and field program. Williams comes to Keiser after a year spent with NWF Health Network as a Kinship specialist. Williams also served as a coach at Pensacola High School in Pensacola, Florida. At PHS, Williams was the assistant track and field coach from 2019-22, and head coach from 2022-24. In her tenure at PHS, Williams produced 22 Florida 2A Regionals. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication at Middle Tennessee State University in 2017, and she was a two-time qualifier for NCAA East Regionals for the MTSU track and field team. 2025 Oversaw a Keiser jumps and sprints unit that had numerous national qualifiers

Donald Heaven Jr.
Assistant Coach
Heaven's Help Heaven Jr. arrives at Keiser after a two-year stint at Florida Memorial, where he served as an assistant coach for the track and field team. A long-time resident of south Florida, Donald Heaven excelled as an athlete at Miami Carol City Senior High School and also as a professional athlete. His success as a 3-time high school state champion for shot put and discus and on the football field earned him a scholarship at Florida State University. During his career with the Seminoles he won a NCAA Football Championship in 1999, helped his team win the ACC Conference Championship four times, while also letting four times in track and field. After college, he was named CFL 2002 Rookie of the Year while playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Prior to his time at FMU, Heaven Jr. was the strength and conditioning coordinator, offensive line coach, and throws coach for Miramar Senior High School in Miramar, Fla. from 2005-2010. He was also the shot put and discus coach at Big Throw Athletics for 11 years, a behavioral technician at Millennium Clinic in Pembroke Pines, Fla. from 2016-2024, and a contracted coach at St. Thomas University from 2017-2018. 2025 Coached six Conference Champion throwers

Kali Kaestner

Kaestner File Entering her second year with the Seahawks as an assistant coach In 2025, Kaestner guided the Keiser pitching staff to program records for strikeouts and ERA Mentored First Team All-Sun Conference selection Mackenzie Masternak Pre-Keiser Before coming to Keiser, Kaestner was an assistant coach at Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington. She arrived at Bellevue in 2023 after spending three years in Hawai’i as a pitching coach at Kamehameha Schools (September 2021 – May 2023) and head softball coach at Oahu Baseball Academy (August 2021 – August 2023). Kaestner was a four-year letterwinner at Concordia University Saint Paul, appearing in 103 games in the circle for the Golden Bears. An All-NISC Second Team honoree as a senior, Kaestner won 38 games during her career in 43 starts. She posted 299 strikeouts for her career while recording seven saves – five in 2019 (the most in a season in CSP history). Personal A two-time NISC All-Academic Team member, Kaestner earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2019 from Concordia University Saint Paul and was awarded her master’s in education from her alma mater in 2021.

Walthall's Wisdom Enters his second season as the assistant coach of the Seahawks' swimming and diving teams The women claimed their fourth straight NAIA National Championship The men won their sixth NAIA National Championship The women finished with 45 NAIA All-Americans, five relay All-American teams, four relay national championship teams, and two individual national championships On the men's side, the team grabbed 46 NAIA All-Americans, four relay All-American teams, four relay national championship teams, and 11 individual national championships Isaiah Alekenko garnered NAIA Swimmer of the Year Noel de Geus and Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen earned the NAIA Swim of the Meet honors Both men and women were ranked No. 1 all season Men and women won SUN Conference Tournament At the conference tournament, Isaiah Aleksenko was named SUN Swimmer of the Year Pre-Keiser Prior to joining the Seahawks, Walthall was the assistant coach for Penn State where he helped the team earn multiple awards. With Walthall's help, the Nittany Lions produced a Big Ten champion in the 100m breast stroke, two individual qualifiers for NCAA nationals, three relay qualifiers for NCAA nationals, and three 2024 Olympians. Before taking the position at Penn State, Walthall served as Head Coach at Ashland University. He coached for seven years in total at Ashland, five as head coach leading the Eagles to a men's second and women's third place finish in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference/Mountain East Conference Championships. He also helped several individual swimmers get to the NCAA Division II National Championships. Before coming to Ashland University, Walthall was an instrumental part in building a NCAA Division II program at Barton College (N.C.) as an assistant coach helping them earn several top marks in their inaugural season. Playing Career As a swimmer, Walthall competed for York College Pennsylvania where he won the NCAA Division III National Championship in the 100 breast. He also competed in the 2016 Olympic trials in that event. He was a six-time NCAA All-American (2014-2016) and was Capital Atlantic Conference Swimmer of the Year in 2014 and 2016 as well as the Rookie of the Year in 2013. Personal Walthall earned a bachelor of science degree in sport management from York with a focus in athletic administration.
