Wiler has proved herself as one of the most prominent coaches in the Mid-American Conference in her ten seasons at the helm of Kent State field hockey. Under the guidance of the four-time MAC Coach of the Year, Kent State has won seven regular season league titles in 2008, 2009, 2010 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, compiling a 58-24 overall conference record, and has back-to-back MAC Tournament victories resulting in NCAA postseason appearances. During Wilers tenure, the program has produced five All-America selections, three MAC Player of the Year and four MAC Newcomers of the Year among the 40 All-MAC selections. More importantly the Golden Flashes have had just as much (if not more) success in the classroom.  Since Wiler took over the program, Kent State has had at least nine players named to the NFHCAs National Academic Squad every season.  In addition Stephanie Bernthal (2008) and Allison Kittelberger (2009) were selected to the ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District squad in the heavy populated At-Large division. The 2015 season began with a milestone, as the Golden Flashes posted a overtime win to hand Wiler her 100th career victory.  The team went on to repeat as both regular season and tournament MAC champions, heading into the NCAA tournament on an eight-game win streak.  Four Golden Flashes won All-MAC honors as one earned NFHCA First Team All-Region distinction. Not to be outdone, the team continued to post victories academically, too.  A record-number of students (10) earned Academic All-MAC accolades.  Wiler guided the program to a historic year in 2014. The Golden Flashes won a share of the regular season title before winning the MAC Tournament title at home to recieve an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Kent State then took down Delaware 2-1 in the program's first-ever NCAA postseason win, making the team one of only 16 left playing in the country.  Wiler had one All-American, three All-Regional students and five All-MAC Team members on the season, including both the MAC Player and Freshman of the Year. The success on the field was mirrored in the classroom as the squad was once again recognized as a NFHCA National Academic Team and had a record number (15) of recipients for the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. The Golden Flashes earned sole posession of the MAC regular season title in 2013 after a 4-1 conference season. They missed being undefeated by one double-overtime goal in the final MAC game. Three Kent State student-athletes earned First Team All-MAC recognition while one was named to the second team. Wiler also had two All-Region honorees and the team continued its success in the classroom, being named a Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team while 14 student-athletes were named to the 2013 Division I National Academic Squad. In only her third season at the helm, Wiler led the 2008 squad to the MAC Tournament and regular season titles.  The team ranked 19th in the final NFHCA Coaches Poll and finished 17-5 overall, the program's best record since 2000.  Kent State's 1.16 goals against average was the eighth best in the nation and its .773 winning percentage was the 10th highest in the nation.    Wiler claimed her first career victory as a head coach, Sept. 10, 2006, when the Flashes defeated Colgate, 3-2, at Murphy-Mellis Field. She went on to claim her first MAC Tournament victory in 2006 and has taken the Flashes to the tournament semifinals in five seasons. The sixth head coach in Kent States history, Wiler took over in February of 2006, bringing six years of experience as an assistant coach in the Mid-American Conference. In eight seasons, she has totaled 88 victories and 48 conference wins. Wiler first joined the Golden Flashes' family as a graduate assistant (2000-01) while completing her masters degree in education. During her tenure at Kent State she helped guide the team to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, one MAC Tournament title and one MAC regular season championship. She then served a four-year stint as an assistant coach at Miami University before making her return to Kent, Ohio.  Prior to her first stint at Kent State, Wiler spent two seasons coaching at both Notre Dame Academy in Villanova, Pa. and at her alma mater, Archbishop Carroll High School, in Newtown Square, Pa. In the winter of 2008, Wiler earned Level II (High Level Development) coaching certification from USA Field Hockey and was one of 25 coaches selected to attend the NCAA Women Coaches Academy.  In addition to her collegiate and high school experience, she spent time at the national level coaching at the USA-Canada Challenge Cup during the summers of 2005 and 2006. The U.S. Under-21 team went 4-0 in 2006 to capture the Can-Am Cup. Wiler was selected to coach in the NFHCA Senior All-Star Game in 2008 and the Junior Olympics in the summer of 2007. She also has coached in the National Futures Program for more than 10 years. A 1997 graduate of Providence College, Wiler earned a degree in social science and was a member of the field hockey team. She was named to the All-Big East Second Team as a junior and was named to the Athletic Directors Honor Roll in 1995. She served as team captain her senior season and was selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Associations Senior All-Star Game.
